Chapter 2: Moms and Muffins

I had to delete half this chapter! Wow, it's gonna be a LONG time before I can get back up on my feet. Sorry guys!

I was at home, sitting on my couch, waiting for mom and Derpy. Derpy got here first, with a basket of many different muffins. She was sitting next to me leaning on me, sleeping, muffins on the coffee table in front of us. Smelling the wonderful muffins, my mouth started watering. I heard a knock at the door. I woke up Derpy, then walked over to the door and opened it. There stood Princess Luna, in her royal wear."Hey mom!" I exclaimed." Come in! there's somepony I want you to meet."

She walked in, and I shut the door behind her. Once Princess Luna saw Derpy, I introduced them."Mom, this is Ditzy Doo, or Derpy. Derpy, this is my mom."

"Hello, Derpy." Princess Luna said to Derpy.

Derpy wasn't fully awake yet, so she didn't really pay attention to who was at the door."Hello, Princess Luna." She stifled a yawn. A few seconds later, her eyes widened as she finally saw who was at the door."P-princess Luna?! You're Moon's mom?!" She bowed to her.

"Rise, Derpy." Luna requested. Derpy rose up off the ground. "Yes, I am Moon's mother. And you are?"

Derpy smiled and answered," His marefriend, princess."

The princess froze at this. Moon smiled nervously."Is this true, Moon?" She asked, turning her head to look at Moon.

"Y-yes?" Moon said.

after a few seconds, Luna smiled and said,"Well, why didn't you say so? I would've dressed better!"

I was relieved after hearing this. I walked over to Derpy, who sat on the couch. Princess Luna sat on the recliner on the other side of the coffee table. Derpy leaned on me again, already falling asleep, her eyes fighting to stay open. I chuckled at this, and said,"Go to sleep, Dear. You've been awake long enough." She yawned once more before falling asleep, snoring softly.'So cute.' I looked back at mom and asked,"So, shall we start?"

After mom left, I decided it was time to sleep. I brought Derpy to my bed with me. I walked in my room, and laid her on the left side, I kissed her forehead, and whispered," Goodnight, sweetheart. Sweet dreams." I laid in bed with her, and pulled the covers up over us. I was still cold, so I wrapped my hands around her, and she instantly warmed me up. She wrapped her hands around me as well, and opened her eyes.

"Goodnight, Moon. I love you."Then she closed her eyes and pressed her lips against mine in a long, passionate kiss. I closed my eyes and kissed her back. after a moment, she moaned, signaling that she needed air. I reluctantly pulled away, looking at her with loving eyes as she caught her breath." I hope you never leave me, ever."

"Wouldn't dream of it." I answered softly, as I kissed her one more time, as a goodnight kiss. We hugged each other tighter. She fell asleep, snoring softly. I looked at her a moment more, the closed my eyes and slept, knowing that the mare I love is safe in my hooves.

I woke up to Derpy's half-lidded eyes looking lovingly into mine.

"Morning, sleepyhead." She teased, then stole a long, passionate kiss. I fell asleep again, against Derpy's soft coat. She poked me to wake me up.

"wake up. We can't sleep the day away," she told me.

"Oh, but your coat is so soft. I can't help it," I said as my eyes slowly closed. She scooted out of my arms and out of the bed. I slowly opened my eyes and moaned."ugh, do we have to?" I asked.

She chuckled, then said,"well, if you mind losing money, then I guess we could stay in bed all day."

I thought about that for a little bit and finally gave in with a sigh."Fine. I'll get out of bed."

She giggled, then kissed me for a few seconds." That's more like it."

I groggily got out of bed and headed to the kitchen, Derpy following me. I flopped onto a chair, and laid my head down on the table. Derpy passed me and woke me up by flicking my flank with her tail. I looked at her with a little blush, while she looked back, smiling with half-lidded eyes.

"Tonight, just you, me, and your bed." She said in a low tone.

She cooked two omelets for us to eat. After a few seconds of poking at my food, Derpy noticed and called me on it.

"Moon, what wrong? Do you not like my food?" She asked." I used your favourite flower!" She exclaimed, presenting a daisy.

"No it's not that. It's just..." I sighed." remember what happened at the party? Well, i'm afraid they won't be my friends, and I don't want to have to rely on you for the rest of my life. it'd be wrong!" I looked down and sighed dejectedly." I'm sorry for bothering you about it. I'll just go back to bed." I slipped off my chair, and dragged my feet back to bed while Derpy looked on, sadly.

Pov: Derpy

As he went back to bed, I could only sigh sadly, eyes uncrossing. I decided to talk to Twilight and her friends, and confirm that they will keep being his friends. I decided to ask Applejack first, also to tell her he wouldn't be able to make it.

Later

I saw Applejack as I was walking to Sweet Apple Acres. "Hey Applejack!" I called out to her.

She turned around and saw me."Hey Derpy. Have you seen Moon? He didn't show up for work."

I sighed." He's staying home today. You and your friends just staring at him made him think you weren't friends, so he decided to stay home."

"oh. Is that why you're not smiling? because Pinkie can fix that!" She said with a smile. She lost her smile once she saw that I still wasn't smiling."You okay, sugarcube? I've never seen you frown. Well, thanks for tellin' me. See ya later, sugarcube." She walked off as I just stared on.'Maybe I can get his favourite cupcake, hopefully that'll cheer him up.'

I walked to Sugarcube Corner to get the cupcake.

As I entered the shop, Pinkie popped up in front of me and exclaimed,"Hi!"

I kept walking as if I didn't see her. Pinkie's smile faded as I walked to the counter, deep in thought. Pinkie popped up from behind the counter and I asked for a vanilla cupcake with apple frosting. Pinkie gave me the cupcake, I paid, and walked out, still deep in thought. I made it halfway home before I realized I already had the cupcake. I kept on heading home.

Once I got home, I quietly slipped in.'Apparently, I've already moved in.' I tip-toed to his room, and opened the door. I saw Moon laying there, crying into his pillow. I felt a pang of sadness at his condition. "Moon?" He turned to face me, sniffing. "I got you a cupcake!" I smiled and held out the cupcake."It's your favourite flavor!" He smiled.

After my successful attempt at cheering him up, we went outside. I held my hoof out to him, and asked," shall we?"

He chuckled, then took my hoof.

"we shall." We walked out of his house in the direction of Sugarcube Corner, as my eyes crossed again.

During our walk to Sugarcube Corner, we passed by Applejack. When she saw us, she told chuckled and told him," Well, if you wanted a day off, you shoulda just told me!"

He rolled his eyes, and we continued walking.

A few moments later, he reminded me of something.

"You really have made me happy. I hope you never leave me." I just giggled at that.

"Like I ever would. I love you too much to do that!"

Two years later
Moon's pov

As me and Derpy were walking home, I was nervous, because when we got home, I was gonna ask her something.

When we arrived home, I stopped her in front of the door. "Derpy, I've gotta ask you something. You know you've made me the happiest man these past two years, staying with me during fails, and throughout winning, never leaving my side. That being said -- " I sat down and presented the diamond ring as she looked on in shock. " -- will you make me the happiest man forever and marry me?"

She stared at the ring for a few seconds, before answering."Y-yes! Definitely! I love you! I will never leave you, and I will marry you!" She yelled.

She hugged me while I stood there, still shocked that she actually said yes. Also in shock of how we managed to keep this a secret for this long. I'm actually planning to send out invites saying it's Derpy's marriage, not including my name, and only revealing myself walking down the isle.

Day Before The Wedding
Derpy's pov

I crashed in front of the spa. I had to get a better hairdo. I got up, shook off the dirt, and walked in. As I walked in, I saw Rarity, who I came to meet.

"Hello, darling! Nice to see you!" Rarity exclaimed when she saw me. I just smiled and waved."Hi Rarity! Thank you so much for meeting me here. It means so much to me," I sat down next to Rarity on the waiting chairs.

"Of course, darling! You're getting married! I wouldn't miss this for the world." She walked to the sauna, and I followed her. When we sat down, she started speaking.

"So, darling, who is the lucky stallion?" I froze at that."Is it... Moon?" She looked at me knowingly.

I just froze in fear and shock.'How did she find out?! We've been extra careful!'

I was quiet for a few seconds. "Whaa? N-no... it's...it's not him! W-we're just...just...mmph..."I sighed."Promise you won't well? Pinkie promise?" I glared at her.

"There's no reason to hostile." She said, then recited the promise, along with the movements.

"Why are you so angry about it? This is wonderful!" She exclaimed.

I sighed."It's just... we were planning to reveal who I was marrying at the wedding, and the day before, you already know! I think I'll tell him after this."

Actually, I'm going to remove the adult parts. I'm just not a person who writes that kind of stuff, so this chapter has had a HUGE setback, and it might take a while to recover.
