Pinkie Pie recalls her days on the dreary rock farm, when color was muted and bleak. Her first real sighting of how bright and cheerful colors could be came from the sonic rainboom Rainbow Dash caused.
Now, Pinkie Pie wants a new color. The current ones just aren't enough, and they don't do enough to make ponies happy for long periods of time. She wants something unique and exciting, and so she talks to her friends in her quest for just such a thing.

I'm glad to see this migrate over from the Writeoff site! It's cute and interesting as ever, and I feel like the dialogue issues from the original version have been cleaned up nicely.

Thanks, I took everything into account and decided which ones I thought were most important that needed to be put in. I hope it is much improved.

Hm... no comments for a great story. Although it's definitely not the 'ALL HAIL WAXWORKS', kind of story, it's very nice. :pinkiehappy: I'm very surprised that there's no Discord face-emoji-thing to use.

Cute, I really like the idea, but I'd really like to see a new colour. :fluttershysad: You'd think Discord would play a few more tricks, or be doing ridiculous actions throughout their conversation, but I guess Discord really liked talking about colours.

Woohoo! Writeoffs are starting to appear. A little better than the writeoff version, so that’s good. But, yeah, solid story.

Twilight sounds a little out of character in thag last line of hers. I don't think she would tell Pinkie to go away so she can concentrate in her work. Yes, she loves science and investigation, but she knows that nothing is more important than a friend in need.

Just that little thing that bugs me

I guess Pinkie hasn't heard of octarine.

And all it took was a little lysergic acid pinkalamide... :pinkiecrazy:

I like this one! It's just like Discord, to never quite give a straight answer right away. That would be committing the cardinal sin of being boring!
