It's funny, because my previous story had somebody telling me that it was doing poorly because it was an "extreme, hardcore fetish" story and I was thinking to myself "No, my next story is an extreme, hardcore fetish story." Everybody has different ideas about where that line goes, I guess. I'm totally aware that this one is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over the line for a heck of a lot of people, though.
Hot story, vivid description and imagery, good roleplaying. Love the concept of immortality causing sexual depravity to reach new insane limits of exploitation for dark desires. Personally the watersports is my favorite form of degredation and humiliation, I was hoping he would even force her to drink a little for his amusement. Maybe next hunt?

Upon reading the tags, I was very, very hesitant. Snuff and watersports are so not within my usual kink-list that I was gonna give this one a miss. Damn, am I glad I didn't. Once again, SPark, you've sold me on a fetish that I normally wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole, and made me enjoy the hell out of your story. He he he. I don't think I could ever write a more, er, permanent take on snuff. Even in some purely fantasized setting, even if I don't care about the characters, even just as strict fiction, it still makes me think "And that's the end, then, you never get to have sex again, you idiot." Celestia's ability to cheat makes it much more interesting to me!

You see this is practicly story that acknowledge Celestia's immortality as absolute and put her in role of goddes. I disagree with that. I always seen her as ageless, maybe unable to succumb to illness, but still mortal when wounded physically.
As such, snuff part would be hardcore. This prevented me from enjoying story in full, as this mine view clashed with one presented here.
So... In the end I can't give it thumbs up or down, nor fav in good conscience

I gotta admit, the snuff ending killed my mood at that point – funny enough, I don’t mind snuff in itself, so long as it’s non-gory. That, I’ll read, but sans any erotic enjoyment.
That said, everything before was fairly enjoyable; I don’t like bloodplay, but it’s mild enough that the rest overshadows it. I love watersports (well, in most cases), so that was very nice. (Too bad he didn’t make her drain his bladder down her throat, but I suppose we can’t always have what we want …
)

Good fic! Which is not something I say lightly considering literally a third of the triggers are very much "not my thing" but it's done surprisingly... well, 'tasteful' isn't really the right word here, but you get what I mean. The story wasn't dominated by any of the usual turnoffs, and what was there worked well in the context of the overall story and its characters.
I've read so many fics by so many authors... yet you're the only one to consistently make me enjoy reading stuff I hate. Thought I hate. I'd never have touched this if I hadn't read the knife play chapter in Ember's... and got a new kink. Beautiful characterisations here, the action feels raw and real and Garamond is a treat.
I guess it's the approach 'not wrong to fantasise' that you execute so well, taking something I'd usually find disgusting into the territory of engrossing (base instinct) character exploration.
Have another green thumb and once more a place in my special collection.

Wish more authors would do stuff with respawn/resurrection mechanics. It allows for a bit of peril yet prevents anything from being permanent.
Of course, it's best when the injury and death is consensual. =P Being an immortal slave would be a miserable existence!

It's one of my favorite kinks! But it's certainly something you don't see much. (Though I'm having fun with it in Hades game fanfiction, since that style of immortal respawning is built into the game mechanics, so a lot more authors are doing it!)
