New Chapter

It was a new chapter in Sweetie Belle's Life. She finally had gotten her civil engineering degree. It had been a long, arduous path, with many triumphs and tragedies, including the assassination of her sister, but here she was, armed with a degree that would make her lots of bits and bring her additional fulfillment in life now that cutie mark helping had started to get stale.

What was her first task? Well, Equestria was growing. Everyday new ponies and other creatures entered the world. Canterlot especially was growing. It was spreading like a tumor across the mountain it adorned. Soon, it would expand around the entire Canterhorn. So the first project in this new chapter of Sweetie Belle's life was designing a road that would wrap around the entire mountain, to link the different sections of the city. And what would it be called, naturally?

Sweetie Beltway.

Interesting. So you're better at grabbing concepts instead of actual plot. What suggestions could you give, just curious?

One suggestion would be to take artifacts of this being an animated show and use them as inspiration for story ideas. Like, that's how the rainbow factory song came about for example: "Say, they have this factory making rainbows... I wonder what they're made from?"

I'll try to think of some other suggestions and make a blog post about it or something.
