8282825 Well, I hated both "Cupcakes" and "Smile HD" for being sick and disturbing, so chances are that I wouldn't enjoy "Rainbow Factory." Besides, it's well known enough in the fandom that I don't need to read it to know what happens. I'm not going to read it because I don't want to read about Scootaloo being put through something like that. It's why I hated the "Tarnished Silver" series by HamGravy. I don't like seeing my favorite characters being put through so much trauma and abuse. Even if Scootaloo is my least favorite Crusader, I don't think I could will myself to read something like that.

Trust me, you're not alone in that opinion. I've written fanfics myself, and I once joked to my friend that I could have Equestria go up in, say, a nuclear explosion if I wanted because that's just how this sort of thing in storytelling works, but THEN I read Cupcakes and watched Smile HD and I felt REAAALLLY guilty for joking like that. One thing I REALLY despise is rape fics, because I cannot stand when my favorite characters are raped for little to no reason. I can't even will myself to WRITE something like that.

This was interesting. I don't know why but I could easily see windy whistles being a DL or a diaper lover, with everything she saved from rainbows childhood being a nurturing mother might have seeped its way into her sexuality. Like it gets her off treating others like children she can take care of.

Because you shouldn't have something happen and then pretend it never happened. You should acknowledge it somewhere down the line. Or at least make clear it has had an effect. Because Scootaloo seems to be completely unaffected by it and nopony ever mentions it. That makes it seem like it has never even happened.
You should describe if her flank is now rosy or red or whatever it is. It doesn't have to be paragraphs long but a change to her appearance should be mentioned.
