Oh my god! Yes! I look for stories like this all the time and you supplied me with a masterpiece! I've read almost every Grimdark and yours is one of the best!
I half expected this to be some slice and dice cupcakes like fic when I started, but this is so much more.
It's sad and shocking. Especially at the end. When I was reading, it was actually scary too! Please write more stories like this! You have such a gifted talent with this kind of thing.
One more thing, I like how fluttershy didn't slice up rainbow or pinkie, she let the larva kill them, which was much more gory and shocking when the bug came out of Rainbow.

Wow...That's all I can say. This was a much different take on the Grimdark side of MLP fictions. It certainly is a very unique story, something that I personally haven't read anything like it before. Keep up the great work.

I took .5 off because of spelling errors.
But other then that I love the plot and I love how it starts off so sweet and like the normal show. And I love that hint of PinkieDash in it. Plus I did not expect Dash to be a victim. I say this was very creative!

5971868 All stories have a point. If you don't enjoy them then it is in no fault of the author. People love the darker sides of things, that's what makes episodes like Party Of One so popular.

Fluttershy's character is perfect! The story is very well written and everything actually made sense, unlike most "dark" fictions I've read so far.

6202868 Really? I'm the exact opposite – usually, I can't stand dark stuff like this, but in this one… I was laughing insanely through the whole thing. There's just something about sadistic Fluttershy that I find absurdly appealing… which is why this is the first true full-blown grimdark fic I've ever faved.
5974250 I do too.... but. It felt worst than Cupcakes and Party of One. And this just left me even more confused. Both stories have grammar mistakes, but somehow: "Pinkie baking cupcakes from organs of many beings without feeling too sad or grossed out and still maintains her happy persona with some annoyance and a feeling of quitting." Makes more sense than: "Fluttershy loves cutting open beings and putting stolen larva into their intestines and not being grossed out by blood or the thought of killing at all, and she doesn't feel sad at all and doesn't even have a single thought of 'Maybe I should quit'." At least Pinkie planned her murders out. Pinkie drew numbers because somepony told her to (which is believable if you consider she probably got told to by a schizophrenic hallucination), Fluttershy decided "Oh because I saw a non-gross display of bugs climbing into a corpse, I should steal butterfly larva and put them in their intestines even though they're my friends and probably aren't even close to death." Fluttershy herself at least implied she was really shy and timid. It would be really out of the blue for Fluttershy to make a hobby out of this, and while its unlikely, Pinkie has proof behind her that she could do that. But then again, i'm babbling about magical technicolor cartoon horses, so whatever. This didn't really scare me either, I like Pinkiedash, but Pinkies confession was out of the blue. The murder in Cupcakes felt more scary because it was the story. In this, 100 or so words were dedicated to, Fluttershy putting larva in Pinkie and Pinkie feeling, the larva. In Cupcakes, a good talk transition was had, and most of it was real (Not including grammar and the fact its ponies). The only thing out of place was the electricity, really. It felt like you were experiencing the pain with Rainbow.

Not really. I ship whatever I feel like, or whatever the story calls for. Pinkiedash ranks pretty low on my list of ships, it's not a ship I'd write very often, but I'll write any ship if the mood strikes me.

Well, as a lepidopterophobic person, I have to say this fanfic actually creeps me out, and I love it! In a twisted way, this kind of story, with that damned bugs, just make me shiver for the images that I see in my mind, the worst thing that was that I didn't fear of the blood or the dead ponies... What has frighten me out was the mental vision of the butterflies eating the meat of pony, or even the great swarm, that was creepy . It's a good story, the Fluttershy's version of "Cupcakes", and the 'philosophy' behind Fluttershy's reasons was completely... I don't know, kind of traumatic and her love for animals was part of it.

I read Cupcakes half a year ago, and when I read one-third into the story, I thought 'okay, I can see where this is going'. That being said, it was nicely written. The build-up was done nicely, and the big reveal felt good, too(although I really can't see why butterfly larvae would eat equine flesh).
Now the thing is, it feels like Fluttershy would be the last of the mane 6 to do something like this. That's what caught me off guard so much while reading this. I kept telling myself 'no, Fluttershy wouldn't do that. Right? Right?' right up until the part where the bloody hoof is frickin' sticking out of the wall of larvae. Eww. I think this is what amplified the horror of the overall story as I just watched my imagination go wild in my brain, thinking up images that I shouldn't.
Anyways, well-written fic, and I need to go eat lunch now. Hope I don't puke...
