This universe is evil in that I simultaneously root for the good guys and yet find myself fascinated by the what-ifs of collar magic, like 'What if Sombra hadn't missed', and so forth. Which is the mark of a well-crafted world, kudos
Good to see this story back on its hooves. I really enjoyed the first chapter and look forward to more!
I liked the original story, and I want to like this, but my god is the split personality thing obnoxious. It's never interesting to read conversations between two characters that share all information, have the same goals, and agree on basically everything. It basically becomes a superpower where somehow the split halves working together are better than the original, and tag teaming just results in character flaws or weaknesses being smoothed away to make the character less interesting. Even just giving the character a perfect confidant reduces the pressure they'll ever have to face.

Interesting sequel, It's ashame that there doesn't seem to have any domination in this story so far, I hope to see more kinky action soon and I hope to see side winder again, he was fun.

I agree, it isn't. However, let us remember that Chrysalis is evil, and has her own agenda. As for Discord, well, he tends not to take a hoof/paw/claw in things unless it's something that makes things more chaotic and is fun.

But the Deal they made, wasn't it a magical deal, if so then Chrysalis is breaking her part by making Celestia her bridle slave, the contract would then be null and void and Celestia would be free of the bridle, also maybe you could have Twilight find out about Rune Magic that could purge the Bridle Magic out of them all then.

Possibly. It would definitely have to be something that would have to be researched, and would require a lot of power. A Lesser Square might be enough. A Greater Square would definitely have enough juice and Luna is still around to focus that level of power.

This chapter is why the ending of the previous stony seemed so stupid. They put in all that effort to save Rarity and Luna from Sombra, then just give Celestia to Chrysalis. Seriously what was the point? She's worse the Sombra in a lot of ways.
So, can we get some more? I love this series and am on my third read through.

in supernatural, maybe. and you're both thinking of cold iron. regular iron isn't as effective against the fae. cold iron will basically kill them though, which is why if you can get your hands on it, it will absolutely keep the fae away from you.
iron breaking this level of magic isn't likely. hell, it probably isn't even possible, but i've been wrong before. and just plain old rune magic depends largely on the caster. the runes are not end all be all, they are tools same as other artifacts used in the occult.

Can still work on ANY kind of magic, this way it can free them both, also what about the Changeling throne, shouldn't that also work on the Bridles and how come Luna is going after the other Elements, and shouldn't the Elements of Harmony magic be able to undo the magic of the Bridle?
When will Rarity become Nightmare Rarity?
Will Twilight free her friends minus Rarity/Valiente? She might side with Luna and see Twilight as a traitor.

It's a contradiction, they would not be sharing all information, or they would not be separate personalities. They share some common starting set, and in this case they share also new input, but they don't share what's going on inside of them.
Even speaking realistically, human brain doesn't share all information within itself, two hemispheres are mostly isolated. Dissociative identity disorder is a mental process which produces a lack of connection in a person's memories, feelings, actions, or sense of identity. But in reality facets rarely communicate at all or communicate though shared memories, not through each other, unless person's thought process would create an "imaginary friend" as an avatar of the lesser facet
