I really liked this! I would have liked to see spike in the dominant position though. It would make more sense if his urges took over he would want control of the pace. Regardless, still a very hot story and good job!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Spike is such a submissive character in the show most of the time, so I find writing a different (and in my opinion, much more fun) take on the character to be quite appealing.
I'd say Spike was in the more dominant position once things got going, since Starlight began on top but found herself caught up in his lust-driven pacing rather than the teasing, tantalizing, slower seduction she initially had in mind for the young dragon. I'm sure he'll find taking what he wants second nature soon enough though, with all the confidence claiming a mare might bring!
Normally not one to write reviews, but this dragon throughly enjoyed what he read.

My only complaint is that Spike'a dialogue didn't flow very well during the sex scene; the content of what he was saying was great (and hawt!
) but the formatting threw me off.
Overall, nicely done!

So hot and fun! Starlight, is easily become a fav pairing for, Spike, and there are so many reason why, and most of those is because, Starlight is an awesome character and a bad sexy mare.
I think a sequel with, Spike, Star and Trixie, is in order. Then if you feel like it, a another new story with a bunch of chapters of, SpikeStar, expanding their herd!
Whatever you decide know that this is a great story with a lot of potential!

Yep, definitely have a hook for a possible sequel if the author want to make one, there is enough interest there for one.
I've got to hand it to you, you got something going on with Spike getting his dominant side going and showing Starlight why it's an advantage for her to have a dragon as a lover/mate. Also, I know that there are those that want to see Trixie--I do too, but with how she was referring to Twilight and Rarity, I would like to see Starlight bring Spike to them as well. After all, we haven't seen a foursome where Spike's harmettes (is that right?) would be Twi, Rare, Trix, AND Star...hmm.
7804631 I think as far as, Rarity, goes, if she not first then the want to have her there is a lot less, because like, Starlight, said, "they missed out", why give them some of her dragon pie when they had their chances for years, especially, Rarity, who had his full attention. Not saying Twilight or her should jump him when he was young, but get him as he is now. As for this story, I say, go for Trixie next, Moondancer and maybe some other mares from Canterlot, but try not to add some of the Manes 6, maybe 1 or 2, but not Rarity maybe Twilight. Think too many feels will come from both of those picks.
Less with Twilight than Rarity. But that just my take on this.

Hmmm...you've got a point there with Rarity. If there has to be a Mane 6 mare, I would have to go with Twilight--or Fluttershy, provided that she's not already in a relationship with RD or someone else. It has to be a lot of work to even work with the others (AJ, RD, Pinkie). Twilight still feels that it would work. I definitely like the idea of Moondancer in there, she's underrated in my opinion, definitely Trixie as well.

One thing I've certainly found out in making this story is that dragons are a real treat to write. Strong claws, firm scales, long tongues, and very different, ahem, "Anatomy" than your typical pony. It's not wonder they get a reputation for stealing away helpless maidens, though I wonder if that may only be because said maidens have absolutely no interest in escaping once they've found a place in their captor's "hoard."

Trixie is a character I've always thought of playing or writing, and the S6 finale showed me that she can be absolutely adorable. If I did write a sequel to this (which is on the list of things to do!), Starlight's bestie gal-pal would certainly play a major role. After all, friends can share just about everything, right?

Well, I will say that Starlight obviously doesn't know quite as much about dragons or their mating potential as she thinks. Hopefully for her sake, she's right about that, at least. Then again, D&D dragons can breed with just about anything...

Starlight herself said it, you're right. They missed out, their loss! Twilight's more likely to blue-screen at finding out that her student and assistant are getting it on rather than joining in, so they'll have to keep things on the down-low between them. Not that Twilight's too keen on recognizing just why Spike and Starlight are getting so friendly together all of a sudden. Must be those friendship lessons paying off!
As for Rarity; obviously, I love Rarity, but I don't see her as having a role in this beyond one of Spike's fantasies (a fantasy that Starlight can fulfill, with a bit of illusion magic). There's already a lot of good SpikexRarity material out there, and I want to take things in a different direction. I could see Spike harboring feelings for her and needing to deal with them, one way or another, at some point, but for now that's a bit too much drama for this marshmallow to write.

If Twilight walked in on a scene like that and saw what was happening, I imagine she'd have something akin to aneurysm. Maybe, if they were lucky, she'd faint and forget about it, but if not; well, things around the palace just got a whoooole lot more awkward for everypony. Could be funny though!

Perhaps if this had featured a female character consumed with the same beastlike, lust-driven dominance that Spike demonstrated, and a slender male character getting his ass owned by her, it would've seriously turned me on. As it is, it was more amusing, and certainly not very arousing. But I'm in the shameful minority.
As for Trixie: face it, you'll never write that. Spike and Trixie are only allowed to exist in the same goddamn room every 1 outta 10,000,000 fan works. And they're only permitted to get shipped three times during the MLP fandom's lifespan. It's a rule that the entire fanbase has silently agreed upon.
