Funny so far it really feels like Dash is being given an unfair advantage over Lightning due to Pinkie. I don't think that is what you are trying t do but that is what I am getting. Pinkie should probably do something for Dust if she is going to keep helping Dash. I think that fits her character.

That's true, Rainbow does have an unfair advantage. But that's not what I'm trying to do. Since Pinkie is, well, Pinkie, she wants to give Rainbow a certain type of happiness she never could've gotten on her own. But Rainbow's a tsundere here, so she doesn't want to tell Soarin how she feels and never talked to him. Pinkie acted like that because Lightning came and has a high chance of swooping Soarin away from Rainbow, because Rainbow has 0 talent in romance. If that were to happen, Rainbow would go to depression. And Pinkie doesn't want that, so she panicked. She'll prolly calm down later and do something for Lightning, just like what you said.

And no, those drinks weren't wine. I mentioned that Rainbow was drinking Truth Juice at the classroom that sold mysterious brews, and then Pinkie bought another bottle of Truth Juice. After that, Pinkie took Rainbow's Truth Juice, brought Rainbow and Soarin together, and gave them two drinks. Basically, if you think about it, she gave them Truth Juice to tell each other you know what.

Don't worry tho, my mind is probably more messed up cuz it's been abducted out of my brain and stabbed in half by a yandere, with the right half floating in space and left half buried in a pile o' manga and video games. The funny thing is that Soarin does not have much more characterization than any of the other charaters mentioned (seen more yes but not much more characterization). Sadly while I would take Pokey or Party Favor over Cheese any day (I like Cheese by himself but absolutely NOT with Pinkie Pie) but I actually prefer Big Mac with her as they have an interesting dynamic that you can actually see in the show (also if you look in the actual show they have a surprising amount of time together).
However I do like that you are showing Pinkie off a bit here wanting to have somebody like she thinks Dash will have. I think it fits that she is helping Dash first before trying fro herself.
7964058 Thing is, I actually noticed the lack of Soarin in the story while I was writing about Scootaloo. That's why I was like whoops........best give him character improvement or else he'll turn into a static character like Applejack I think she's got a boring character, don't hate plz guys. I also noticed if I don't give him character he'll become one of those generic anime male protagonists who don't seem to have anything special about them at all. I didn't want that so.......yeah. You guys get it, right???
Anyway, I agree with the Cheese x Pinkie thing you said. It'd be nice (lol, yeah right) but they look better off as friends. The internet said that there are Pinkie x Party Favor shippers then I was like Who da fudge is Party Favor? And then Oooooh him I get it. And what Pinkie was talking about was Pinkie voicing my opinion (thx Pinkie btw YOU'RE WELCOME!!!
). Wait, that's also a common thing in anime........the best friend knowing/wanting a love interest, instead their best friend/the protagonist gets one and they're fine with it. Gee, what great world anime is!

It is a good idea to give Soarin some time to make him more than a generic love interest. It is not required but it is a good idea to make the story better.
Yea I could see Party Favor in a similar role as to how I see Dash compared to Pinkie in a PinkieDash story. Party Favor is the love interest that you use when you want her to play off somebody who is similar to her and that is how I see Pinkie with Dash.
Big Mac is the one how I see say Twilight with Pinkie where the characters play off being different (though not in a bad way that would lead them to not work) or they play off in ways that you would not expect (for instance in Pinkie Apple Pie where Pinkie and Big Mac end up talking about philosophy).
7966598 Personally, I never thought about a Pinkie X Mac ship. It just never seemed like it was gonna happen. (plus, the show says that they're cousins, and if that's true........woah.) I always saw a Mac x Cheerilee because of the hearts and hooves day episode, Flutters x Mac because they're both so quiet (i think that's why they have a ship), and Mac x Marble Pie cuz of Pinkie Apple Pie. Damn, Big Mac's a ladykiller. But you do have a point.
And Soarin.....I don't like spoilers and stuff, so all I'm gonna say for now is that he'll get character development. Mostly in the next one.

Well Marble would have the same problem as Pinkie but do not worry if you recall they are not actually what you and I call cousins. They are so far apart in relation that even if true they would essentially not be related.
Also realize that in many states 2nd and sometimes even 1st cousins are legal to be married so Pinkie/Marble are no problem for Big Mac.
Also yea not everydoy thinks about Pinkie and Mac but take a look back into episodes with Mac in them and there are a number of scenes with Pinkie and Mac together such as Pinkie painting Mac's butt.

Yea if you are in the USA I think the most restrictive laws on marriage would limit you to be 2nd cousins. 2nd cousins are FAR closer than whatever Pinkie is to BIg Mac so she would have no problems. It only sounds weird because in her exuberance of saying cousin makes you think they are more closely related than they are.
