1000 years ago, the youngest of the royal sisters was banished to the deepest regions of space, where her dark magic could do no harm to Equestria or the ponies living on it.
The powers of the ponies that help defeat her were kept away, until the right time when they would be needed again.
Now, 1000 years later, deep in the mountains around Canterlot Celestia prepares for the day when her sister would return. That day is today, and its up to three ponies to put a stop to her and her army. Are they the best choice? No, because they are our only choice.

This is interesting for sure. Honestly tho, I kinda wish it didn't go the super pure and easy route. I would have liked it more if Spike would have turned on the Rangers. I mean come one, his fate was decided for her before he had a right. The girls in their own way belittle all he does even tho in a fight he could best chance take all three of them at once. And to be honest the biggest thing to me that I find it odd has not been addressed at all..... HE IS A DRAGON!!!! More than ponies his species is bred for fighting and combat. He best chance has roughly the power of a Ranger as he is now, but he is tied down by the will of Twilight. Who lets face it had a VERY large trend of feeling she knows better for everyone than they do. There is still a chance that could happen and I would LOVE to see both the 'Green Ranger' flip and the Dragon angle played up more. Hmmm I just thought of it, the story of his mother..... is too clean. It is too perfect to be a anchor to manipulate Spike. What if there is more to the story, More that Nightmare knows and uses it to flip Spike. Not by mind control but of his own will. I mean think of how that would mess with the team if their tech guy leaves to join the bad guys, how it would effect Twilight, it would be interesting. I have always liked the Rangers x MLP crossover so I have countless ideas of where this story could still go and I can't wait to see where it leads.

I wasn’t expecting Return of Thunder to be next. That really surprised me. I guess that means we’re gonna read about the combined Meegazords and Rumble and Button joining the team. Can’t wait for Parts 2, 3, and 4!
The reason I skipped Snip it Good was because I was writing it, got half way finished then lost all progress. Since I didnt wanna do it all over I skipped it. It was a filler episode anyway
This is interesting for sure. Tho honestly I do wonder how Spike will feel about this. I mean to be fair he has been more or less the whipping boy for this series and I don't know how long that will last. What will happen when a new person, a male at that, show up and start to make request/demands of him and getting more respect than he get? I still think this is one of the few chapters that touched on something I feel could still be a big thing.... Spike isn't a pony. He is a dragon, and it has been shown they are FAR different. How much can Spike deal with, both with being told he can't go into combat, and being seen as the desk monkey of the team? I know I best chance wont get it because Rumble and Mash already played that part but I just think him getting a OG Green Ranger turn would be super interesting. OR he leave the team for a while and go solo. I mean he KNOWS the tech better than any of them, if anyone could it would be him lol.
Meanwhile Rumble still morphed is stumbling around the island looking for Button growling his name. Button, BUTTON!!! said Rumble.
