Fluttershy seems like a regular high school senior living in a small town who spends most of her time with her closest friends. But really, her home-life is anything but bright. To make matters worse, Fluttershy wounds up in detention, is sent to the Principle, and is given an out of the ordinary task all on her first day of school. Because she rather help around the office than be stuck in the basement, Fluttershy goes to pick up a strange foreign man. Unbeknownst to her, this one encounter will change her life forever.
Will it change for the good? Or will it spiral downhill? Who knows when he happens to be the teachers assistant in your first hour...

oh wow. OH WOW WOW WOW WOW. I love this so far, it's got the start of an amazing story and I can't wait for the next chapter. I say reading the part where Cordwood directly insults her clothing was so hurtful and well done. I love the last part of this story where you can start to see something blossom between the both of them. I hope it's something positive for both of them

Good story, I like the drama and the issues both Flutters and Discord are going through. Gives them alot of personality outside of what we already know. Flutters has a really troubling background for someone who grew up to be so kind to everyone and everything around. I wonder if most of the town knows about her mom or not? She's gotta go out to get food and alcohol and all that, so she must be seen around town. I doubt Dash is the only one who knows of Flutter's situation if she is so well liked and known.

8073514 Well, Flutters tries her best to hide her family origins out of embarrassment and shame. Most people around town don't see her mother because she's usually in the city, I'll likely get into that in future chapters. People in town just know Flutters for the reputation she had built herself, and only Rainbow truly knows about her family since they grew up together. The other girls weren't from town and don't know about Fluttershy's past or family besides Rainbow's family always being there.
