Well, if there was any doubt that they were going to get together and Bitter Honey was going to be born, this completely removes it.
Good Story! At the beginning I honestly thought it was about future Sour Sweet and Bitter Honey; wasn't expecting it to be from Gilda's POV,

Another excellent SS story. Good to see you expand on a "side" character with Gilda. Guess friendship +college mellowed her out. Weird thinking of Gilda happily married with a kid. But that's life.
One question: When did Sour Sweet decide to become some kind of doctor? I'm assuming medical doctor, but any kind of doctor. You must have brought it up before, but I can't remember when.

I loved "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea"--shoot, all the old Irwin Allen shows! They were so ginky they were hilarious! And the monsters...so many monsters!
Sour Sweet is the Shadow Bearer of the Element of Kindness, after all. It makes sense that her heart would be large and her nature would be healing (in her forthright, acerbic manner, of course).

Very nicely done, especially in seeing parents taking care not to repeat the mistakes that their own parents made. I jsut hope my concern over Bitter Honey's alleged "weirdness" is me reading too much into things and not a bellwether of something unfortunate for the next generation...
