Okay... not a bad start. Definitely exciting. I don't really have any investment in the story though. All I have is a nameless main character and a series of events told in past tense. The reader has nothing to connect to, not even the other characters sharing the fate of the heroine.

a start but i hope you flesh it out hope and fears maybe other things like real struggles and seeing how weird pony society is with it herd mentality and how spolid and naive they are compared to other races who struggle.

I think it still sums up to being a really good start. It has me wanting to know what happens to the main protagonist and Sunset. I can't wait! :) I really love how you write in first person perspective. Just. Amazing!^^
