I think if this had been any more full of cheese, my laptop would've turned into a block of Gouda.

Alrighty then! I like this story format to be honest. It is different for sure but I like it seeing as it is a comic. I noticed two errors immediately.

Regret! The word that strikes fear into the athlete and the adventurer alike. Regret! The stirrings ofg the horse heart for that which can never be attained,

and

Dashed turned around just in time for the marshmallow goon to collide with her.

I like your stuff and I am going to start reading Choices and The Three Whooves tomorrow.

Looks like somebody's a fan of Stan Lee.

:applejackunsure:Okaaaay...

I still want to see a Darkwing Duck crossover. :twilightoops:

789559 Sounds like a gouda read to me! :yay: <(~yeeeeaaaaaaah!~) :facehoof:

I can havarti wait for the next issue!

I just swiss it was out already.

Its the footnotes that sell it. The story was amusing, the footnotes made me shoot coke out my nose. :rainbowlaugh:

That really hurts BTW. :rainbowderp:

Awesome. I was really worried about the footnotes. They were a really experimental thing that I thought would annoy people. I intend to basically tell an entire parellel story about Barker, his crazy business practices, and his estranged daughter through them.

I :rainbowkiss: footnotes. They are a big part of why I like Discworld I am not ashamed to say. (Not that I know what shame is anyway. :rainbowdetermined2:)

But my perverse love affair with footnotes aside, they give a real feel for the reprinting idea. It really looks like its a classic story with comments by a comic historian. Especially the personal comments "Liar, I've been waiting since I was six." I lost it there. I really did. It nearly ruined the computer I am using here at my job's breakroom. :rainbowlaugh:

EDIT: Rainbow is best emoticon.
EDIT 2: That moment when you realize one of your favorite authors just spoke to you. :pinkiegasp:

The moment that somes calls you their favorite author. :pinkiegasp:

:pinkiehappy: You had me at The Three Whooves. :pinkiehappy:

I think I just cheesed myself...:derpyderp2:

Excelent! hoping for more of this

part on dude!

You know... The only real western comics I've ever really read are all in a big ominbus somewhere, the original like 10-15 issues of X-Men. I loved those! But I'm sadly lacking in knowledge outside of them!

However, this is still very entertaining! :pinkiehappy:

They rejected this? This is awesome! :yay: It's really like an old Silver-Age comic. And man, Dash was seriously channeling Peter Parker in as few scenes. :rainbowderp:

I can't wait for more, true believers!

They said that most of the 'deliberately bad' prose wasn't funny, and the annotations completely prevent the immersion of the reader. I thought that taking away the Silver Age dialogue and annotations were killing what made the story special. I wonder if I could right better Silver Age dialogue? I don't think I could give up the annotations.

Thanks. You've actually got me working on the next chapter again.:yay:

You really have the Stan Lee bombastic style of the Silver Age and his style of dialogue down pat.

Very well done.

both funny and interesting I'd love to read more.

Oh, just cancel it already if you're not going to update!
