I have a very bad feeling about the response to this story, but I think it'll be fun to see the response either way.
It'll either get disliked because of the stuff in the story, how the story was written, or the fact I'm a socialist myself. That's sooorta why I have a book called, "Socialist Principles Explained," lol.

Everything else was grim, pessimistic and like a page from my diary... Except the death at the end as I am not *that* lucky...
But this was actually quite well written if a little fast paced and also true in terms of capitalism and its weakness of making the rich richer and the poor poorer... maybe add a sad Tag or something...

I laughed a lot in this, great story! SR with the RD, I really should have seen it coming. Then I was totally sideswiped by Fluttershy asking that. You know what I mean. Impoverished Scootaloo is best Scootaloo. Thank you for this.
Why would ponies need socialism? They can eat grass... Then again give it a decade, socialism a la central government planning would find a way to cause mass starvation in spite of that.
