Celestia's guidance has long been the watchward of Harmony in Equestria, under her rule, the realm has never known war, civil strife, famine or plague, and its ponies have remained by and large, pure and morally upstanding. But recently, the world has begun to change. Equestria is drawn into peacekeeping efforts outside its borders, and for the first time in centuries ponies across the land see the coffins of soldiers return to grieving families. Ethnic and cultural tensions between constituent races resurface, and the cracks in this harmonious union of Equines have begun to show. As enemies begin to gather around Equestria, it becomes obvious that the old ways of peace are coming to an end. Sinister and benevolent forces alike gather both without and within, all determined to paint their own future on the canvas of Equestria. Ponies like Gale Storm, a young officer of the Royal Equestrian Army, will have to choose where their loyalties lie, and how far they are willing to go to see their visions of the future realized.

Interesting Outlook you may process.with this..I expect awesome.fights out of this one.

I like the personality you've given Shining Armour.

My apologies everyone, it really has been too long since the last update. In future I'll try to keep that from happening anymore. I'll get on a real schedule soon. Until then, have some Shining Armor being old-fashioned and an old plot thread being continued.

Are you going to write more? I was enjoying this rather a lot.

There are chapters coming within the week, I was getting permission for something, which is slowing the whole process down. Thanks for your interest!

Well that was enjoyable. I'm surprised its not more popular, it was very well written. Thumbs up, favorite, watch, blah blah blah...
