Fun? yes. Interesting? yes. But, is it a crossover if MLP:FIM is a show within the DC universe and the little girl is only a representation of Celestia in appearance only? How does that work anyway? does she look like a real horse or a giant version of the toy (like a marionette Pinocchio)

Great chapter! It makes me wonder if Zatanna knows who Batman is? If my memory serves me correctly the only person he trusts is Alferd. Dick/Nightwing is also possibly trusted but you can just never tell with Batman.

It would be awesome to have Raven (voiced by Tara Strong) providing an analysis of the lead character of PPP (also voiced by Tara Strong,) and the show's characters, especially if she has a momentary freak-out, ending with a totally Twilight-ish "Great Celestia!"

...did the comics remove Etrigan's need to speak in rhyme? Lately everyone I've read who uses him in a crossover has him speaking normally, but I am way out of the loop on DC so I could have missed something.

it has to do with the DCAU, in justice league, justice league unlimited and such, they went with him just being down right rude.
Though in the movies, Justice League Paradox, and justice league dark, they have him rhyme.
Since i'm more working with the DCAU tv version i went without rhyme.

Because the word Eris in Greek means Discord, and Eris is the Goddess of Discord (aka, Disharmony). She was Discord before Discord was Discord.
Side note: Discord may have his eyes because of her. Specifically, the most major appearance of Eris in modern visual fiction was her appearance in the animated film Sinbad and the Seven Seas (I think that was its name) by Dreamworks, in which Eris has yellow eyes with red pupils. I think the odds are very good that that part of Discord's design was inspired by that version of Eris.

You don't know Batman. Or the Joker. Joker has nothing to lose. He's insane. Batman does, and is not. Plus, Batman had her tagged so there was no need to push the situation when there was a better way to save her....plus....he's using her to track her to Joker's lair. Classic Batman. Did he willingly choose to have her captured? No, but he is making the best of a dicey situation.
A very good storyline. I like that it ISN'T a cross-over, even though it incorporates two different genres. It is an origin MLP story imbedded in a Batman universe. Definitely a breath of fresh air. Definitely enjoyable to read.
Well now we have the spirit that will possess Luna and turn her into Nightmare Moon. Please put me down for Harley to getting transformed but becomes younger and becomes Luna.
