I might be a clone, but I'm still Pinkie Pie. I am. I look like her. I sound like her. I get that same feeling of existential dread when another Pinkie Pie walks in on my life.

Okay, so maybe that last part's just me.

You know, I was waiting for a story like this to pop up at some point and I am honestly glad that this one was the first one that I was able to read. I like the style; It honestly feels like someone writing down a long, somewhat rambling letter that they keep getting distracted from because they don't want to get to the point.

I hope other people enjoy it as much as I did... if not more so.

Well done. If I could make a suggestion, this could use a chapter 2 with Original Pinkie writing a response to this letter.

Damn. Apparently you can pull off emotional fics too.

Good job, maybe you'll add a 2nd part :pinkiehappy:

In a just world, the Mane 6 would be in prison for genocide.

I'm... uncertain whether a magical clone has true sapience, though I think each of them might have grown into their own pony eventually. Also, I don't think those clones are dead, I think they returned to the mirror pool as depicted. Now, what existence they have now? No idea.

This story still makes me sad. This duplicate seems sapient to me. With over an year to contemplate the story, I am sure that # 42 is a perfect name for her; she is an answer to an unknown question.

I get that, but I think the one clone that actually was capable of thought was spared, and the rest were as depicted: crude copies. A better solution might have been to send one off to each city to try to spread happiness. Concentrated they were too much.

I would absolutely love to see a follow-up to this. Cloney Pie needs a hug.

I loved this! It felt very true to Pinkie Pie
