There aren't any mountains in Ponyville. Alpine lilies don't grow here. They sell okay, though, so we keep gathering them. It's just a quick train ride to Canterlot. Good thing I'm doing this on Thursday so I don't miss anything. Thursdays are always so slow.

I forgot to bring a book.

I also forgot that Canterlot is built on a mountain. I mean, yeah, that's where I go to get alpine lilies, but it's not a place that you think of having a lot of steep slopes and slippery rocks. Outside the city itself, on the eastern slope, it's pretty wild.

I got all the lilies I needed, and in record time. It's actually kind of fun jumping from rock to rock. Earth pony for the win! Good to see all the extra calories I've been eating are going to good use.

Well, clearly since I'm in Canterlot and it's nearly lunchtime I have to go find a chic restaurant. Oh, whatever shall I do? ;)

An awesome day just turned weird. I followed my nose and it led me to a restaurant called le Grand. It was a griffon restaurant. They were eating meat. Yuck.

Back in Ponyville. It's almost 1:00. I think I'll wait a little while to stop by the stand.

Sure enough, Daisy and Lily said Lamplight was asking about me.

Daisy and Lily are giggling about something. I smell donuts.

5:30 pm
It was donuts. At least it was for dessert, not the whole meal.

I think I'll go for a walk.

djthomp, i have to say, you made me laugh way too hard for my own good. kudos to you!
But does this mean LampLight followed her to Canterlot, and bought donuts for her? Ok, NOW this just got really weird.
