I must say, I don't read much clop anymore, but I'm glad I took the 20 minutes to read this. Kind of wish the third chapter was longer though. Wanted to see what Octavia would do when she was released. Maybe a sequel is in store?

I myself would love to see the aftermath when Octy wakes up... even just dialogue would be amazing, but I can imagine it myself, happening a plethora of ways.
I thought this was super cool ; ) keep it up.
Lots of said-isms and some continuity errors (e.g. Can Octavia hear or can't she? The start of Chapter 3 in particular suggests she can). Not enough build-up or description of anything that should be built up and described.
Also, this feels like a blunt, lower-quality, and shameless ripoff of another story I saw recently that also featured Vinyl-Octavia noise shenanigans.
Disappointed.

Octavia is supposed to be able to hear fine, its just the soundproofing spell around the room the prevents her from hearing anything outside of it.
I don't begrudge you your personal opinions or constructive criticisms regarding the "said-isms" but if you are going to accuse me of writing a "blunt, lower-quality, and shameless ripoff" you could at least have the decency to tell me what it was I supposedly copied so poorly.

I vaguely remember a fic titled ". . . But Duct Tape is Silver" which had a similar premise and, I will grant, superior writing. If that was the one you were thinking off, I did not mean to imitate it. My only goal was to write some gratuitous clop.
