A fan of ponies since the premiere of the 2nd season, a fan of TMNT for most of my life, and a writer with probably way too many ideas and not enough time to write them all down.
Bargaining; it’s a stage in the grieving process where there’s hope that somepony can avoid a cause of grief, possibly even to reverse the tragedy that’s occurred like bringing somepony back from the dead. However, such bargaining is fruitless. After all, Most ordinary ponies can’t just bargain with death to get back their loved ones. Twilight Sparkle isn’t an ordinary pony though.

I always have issue with stories like this, I like the message but I feel it's kinda not fitting when they have a spell that can turn back time. Just ask someone close to you to use to use the spell teleport them way from the train. Also am going to uses the limited about of time of the spell to way get over the moral daliam of not saving over one.
But am being very biases being that Spike is my favorite character.
6873783 Well, It really is a narrative thing that is kind of related to the plot. However, it is shown within the series that Twilight panics a lot and either does spells without thinking or in her panicked state, that she can't focus or use an already established spell. Additionally, Time Travel can have adverse effects in fiction. Sometimes even saving someone could have a negative affect.
Also, I didn't write this story because I dislike Spike. I love the little dragon. I was simply putting forth a story that was different from a few other main/supporting character death stories.
Not a bad little piece. Certainly give step reader a few things to latch onto and ponder. Thank you for sharing it with us.
