E

Harmony is always working toward her goals.

Not all of her pawns are aware of the fact that they are pawns.

Starswirl, a sacrifice toward the Plan.

Twilight, the results of the Plan.

Two mortal lifetimes ended. A plan millions of years in the making entering the endgame.

Pawns may be weak, but they can be promoted...

This is an experiment in trying to write a story heavily mixed with world building. If I fail to tell a compelling story, then at least I can learn from my mistakes. The fact that it is an experement is why I tagged it [Random]

Set in the far past, during Magical Mystery Cure, and the far future.

I might come back and re-write this someday.

Weren't the two previous ones also mixed with quite a bit of worldbuilding? It's interesting nonetheless. Looking forward to see what else you write. By the way, small typo,

Wonders flitted through his memory, mountains floating in the sky, oceans of immeasurable beauty, cities build of smoke.

Seeing as to how the story is in past tense I think 'built' works better. Until next time,

P.s. No clue why the comment is underlined, I can't stop it.

6984122 Thanks for the catch.

The other stories are roughly 10% world building. This felt like it was at least 25% world building when I was writing it.

Your comment is not underlined on my screen. Maybe an issue with your browser? Maybe a momentary glitch in the system?

6984155 I think that the ratios would be a little higher since they all revolved around the world of the Sundered Goddess. Since the Sundered Goddess had a fair major role in your previous stories, along with this one, it should be more than 10-25%. Wouldn't be 80-100% either. Personally I would say somewhere around the 30-50% range. Anyways, still love the world your building. Can't wait to see more of it. Until next time,
-Sphinx

Huh, not underlined anymore. Guess, must have been a glitch or something...

A lovely triptych of death and rebirth. One for Star Swirl, one for Twilight, and one for the universe itself.
