The seven friends have been through it all. Whether it's Discord or even Changlings to even King Sombra! Nothing can stand between Twilight and her five best pony friends! But to think, none of it could have even been possible if it were't for her best human friend that was there to save the day!
But could it have been done without him?
One day, Twilight and Spike just appear randomly in the meeting room of her castle, and she's been acting different. Not only did she not recognize him, but she started even blathering on about time travel for some reason and even went on to say that they did all those feats without ever knowing him...

I think it would've been sadder if something Twilight did caused everyone to forget his existence, but with him still there.

6709488 Honestly, I don't go on Equestria Daily that much, but I doubt this would make it on that site. Maybe if I spent more time and more thought behind this to make it in more depth, then maybe I think it could have potential to make it on that site.
6709929 Trust me, that was something I was absolutely trying for, but looking back at the Finale of Season 5, the smallest changes led to completely different outcomes, so that one thing she did was what it took for the human to appear. That being said she likely wouldn't have repeted the process if she was trying to 100% replicate what happened in (her) past.
I do however think that if I spent more time on this fic and didn't make it a one shot, I could have made this plenty more in depth for this to be a sadder fic.
