I'm gonna be completely honest here. I did not enjoy the sequel. It went into a completely different direction from Velvet Plush, one that I didn't care for. I feel like the sequel turned something romantic, cute and adorable into "I'm gonna turn every mare in this fic into a cock hungry slut!"
I feel this sequel destroyed a lot (if not all) of what I enjoyed so much in Velvet Plush.

You're right, it's a totally different direction, which is another reason why I did not want this to be a second chapter, but rather a sequel. When I had the idea of Celestia tormenting the plushie to punish Twilight, my immediate thoughts were that I wanted to do something that wouldn't be unpleasant for Twilight, but completely shocking. Tapping into more fetishes, gangbang felt like a fit. I think I still kept the romance element strong enough in the first half, but I admit, I did want to make this story much more sexual, and I knew that would rub some people who read the first one the wrong way.

Truth be told the story itself wasn't bad. The over all plot sounded interesting. It just went in a direction I wasn't expecting it to go considering the fist story.
The gangbang fetish just isn't my cup of tea. There just way to dominating and tend to be more prevalent in stories with rape, mind break and demoralizing themes in them. It just felt wrong to see that in a fic with a romance tag. It could have been just a single guard stallion or even Celestia with a giant magic cock or strap-on.
It felt excessive.

I had not planned on a trequel, but it would likely be a Twilunestia three-way with some awkward princest. If I were to do it, I would also have the plushie get re-enchanted, likely remain small sized, and they would use it to flex their play in ways they couldn't normally because whoever is pleasuring the doll is also pleasuring Twilight.
Another idea for a third one: If you recall, Cadence said she would make a doll of herself next time. What I meant was that, for the theoretical sequel with Cadence, Twilight could provide her with a similar letter to the one she was given. That way, they could still surprise her by enchanting the dolls without her knowledge, but she could stop things at any time if she didn't like it. Therefore, Cadence would not have initially consented to it as she was unaware that any such events would take place, but could still give consent after the fact by not stopping things when she was perfectly capable of doing so.
