Yeah, I don't know if I did that good a job with the teen awkwardness, but I tried. Reading it again, with the pressure of it being public, I noticed all sorts of things (edited a few on the fly) but the back-and-forth of the earlier parts with the narrator bouncing between them is probably not so smooth.
Live and learn! I'm glad you thought it was cute. It exists almost solely for the slip and fall moment, to be honest. I just wanted to write something resembling a story around that idea. :P
6606714 Dude, everything about teenage-hood is not so smooth. The slip and fall is ridiculous of course, but something like that in a fic about teens full of hormones can work, and you put it in the story in a good way. And feel free to edit this so you think it's better, it is your story after all, as long as the pace is right and the situation credible.

Oh, and I had totally thought about the big about her getting preggers, and in the end, I figure there must be a magic plan-b in Equestria. You know, if she goes and gets it. :P My best idea on the subject is that it's like our plan-b, except instead of a pill, a unicorn can just flush a gal out as a healthcare service. No problem! Equestria is magical~! ;)
I had also thought about if she did end up pregnant, her family is rich, I bet she would be able to take it a lot better than most teen moms. She'd just have to deal with her parents being really mad at her lol

They haven't been "normal" ponies biologically (even considering cartoon physics) for a long time. For example, they can vomit like humans, and get sunburned without fully shaving first, neither of which are possible for ponies.

6607633 Umm... horses can get sun burn and they can get it pretty badly at that. They get them in the form of blisters and it is extremely painful. THIS is why many wild horses typically role in the dirt, well one of the many reasons anyways as its just something they do to relieve itches and discomfort in general aside from many just enjoying a good roll in the dirt.
You're pretty spot on for the vomiting thing though. But we'll give Equestrian ponies more points for evolving a safety net to allow for proper vomiting given their smaller necks and muzzles. Throats that have evolved to allow for vocal muscle control would allow for vomiting as well no doubt.
But from what you said that only seems to reinforce the whole mental imagery of equestrian ponies having built in features to prevent unwanted births. Good thing Rarity's parents decided to keep Sweetie Belle. xD
Damn, no wonder everyone seems to live in harmony. Woman there don't have to worry about safe sex since they can expel any time they want. Which means less reason to seek other mares or stallions to seek sexual gratification as the fear of unwanted parenthood is all but gone. Not that that stops any pony from wanting or preferring the same sex, just that the fear of being a parent is removed and thus less douchebaggery deceitful actions from those wanting to get a quicky are vastly reduced.

If you want to get even more technical, the one aspect of pony anatomy that hasn't been mentioned here yet, likely because the concept of what happens at the end is so ridiculous, is that DT probably would have been in MUCH more pain and possibly sustained internal injuries from "hilting herself" upon him like she did. I've seen people gripe on art that has to-the-base insertion because it's apparently not possible. I tend to humanize/anthropomorphize a lot more in my stories, though, so I hereby declare that any of my ponies can totally get hilted and be fine. Because burying the whole thing in there is just, UNF, so hot. Lets you have better body to body contact and all that. Stomach pressed against ass from behind is top notch sexy and also can be romantic. Warm, fuzzy, fun. That's what I like to write about mostly.

Though, I'll raise you one more in why Diamond couldn't get up adds more to this, is that the pony vulva literally wasn't built to take in the general girth of a mature stallion. First times are pretty damn painful with how that seemingly small area that's always more open than the rest is like that for a reason, the rest tears apart the more they take in. There is a reason why owners of mares always, well they should anyways, cut the vulva slit open so as to avoid getting hurt, feeling too much pain, when mating.
Thankfully for Rumble he doesn't have a penis 'bone' like we do. They stay soft and pliable. Otherwise, even with a perfect landing, hilting like that would have caused serious damage to both of them. lol

Sure. I'll tell you what I've told others, though, I have a lot on my plate. The Conquering of Love is my top priority, and I am almost done with the sequel to Velvet Plush. I may do a sequel to this or another story on a certain milestone event.
