Always late to the party.

Sequels1

Steve is just an average guy, who goes to a convention, and has a crappy day, because he becomes... displaced.

This story idea happened when I came across one too many displaced fics very late at night.

Story idea approved by Bugsydor, story title courtesy of Bugsydor, and a very special kind of thanks to Bugsydor for being the official Turd Polisher.

For a troll fic, wasn't that funny. 6/10

You get a 'Good try!' sticker!

Ironically enough, one of the least crappy Displaced stories I've ever seen.

7129534 I even did about thirty seconds of research (i.e. as much as I could tolerate, just to know what makes for a "displaced" story).

And then weeks later realized that I hadn't included "the merchant", so I don't even know if it fits all those imaginary rules.

Objectively, though, I'm pretty sure that it is one of the crappiest.

I found this story a good parody of all the OP self-inserts. =)

Especially the crappy ones - only thing missing is the harem. XD

Huh. A harem is definitely not the only possible thing missing, but it is one that I had not considered. Not that our Steve would have such luck, or that it would have changed anything. Honestly, what are the odds of being zapped to Equestria and having favorable new powers and winning the hearts of everypony regardless of being whatever probably-not-a-pony-character/thing that you turned into?

You have an excellent point, good sir.

There is also the whole "chosen one" shtick, but for a short, it was a good way to parody the genre. :)

I was kinda hoping he'd land on Twilight.

Reading this due to your quote of hawthornbunny's review-y thing of you on your User Page.

Good userpage!

...

Wow. That's an unexpected transformation indeed! What does it mean, that he's able to think??

I wonder what this having a sequel means... Hmm.
