Shaud

Back from a very long hiatus.

[Please read notes at the bottom before reading]

It had been almost a year after Sunset's fall at the Fall Formal, and most everyone had moved on. Sunset simmered down, as did the tension at Canterlot High.

However, sometimes an odd joke about her old self will pop up. And lately she's discovered a whole new reason to hate the term "she-demon."

[Slight AU; Fall Formal happened after two years not 3.5, so EG would have been junior year, and this takes place in senior year. Also: Transgender themes and 'special snowflake' things ahead. If you don't like these then, please, just don't read this.]

Seems legit! I'm definitely gonna read this.

This story just left me confused. I did not get it at all.

Oh the woes of the self identity issues, I know them well. I am curious about what inspired this though; I never spotted anything in the movies that would imply that Sunset were agendered or gender-nuetral.

One thing I hate about one-shot fics like this: They're good and I don't want them to end as just short one-shots.

6544491 Ahh well I guess that's kinda my own doing? I myself am agender so when I noticed the use of "she-demon" so much in the movies and fanfiction I was like "But what if that bothers Sunset?"

6544613 Thank you! :D

6544172 Ah I'm sorry! Basically like transgender Sunset?

6544693 I can understand that. i'm no writer personally but i understand seeing your characters in a personal-to-you context. I am asexual so i tend to put my favorite characters that i read in that context without much thought and it allows a better empathetic relationship between me and the character.

non binary sunset yesssssss

Not sure wherefore the dislikes. Have a like for an interesting little story.

Nice, a good addition to a good story.
