659573 All too many adventure stories end with all the conflict resolved. The protagonist has a linear route to follow that will inevitably lead to victory (if they make it through). Like capturing the Sapphire statue, for example. The objective was clear, and there was no moral ambiguity. But introduce a choice. A difficult choice. An impossible choice. And then it really gets interesting.

I'm liking this story! It's pretty quick, though. I'd like to see you take your time with the scenes. Savor them. Make the interactions less like fast food and more like fine cuisine. They're fun, but the more I care about the characters, the more I'll invest in them. It's moving a bit too fast right now, in my opinion. But the setup is good and the possibilities are exciting!
