6414822 Well, you say that cutie marks are a defensive against slender pony, becuase they are good magic. Many questions pop in my mind, but the main one is: if its just a magic denfense, then why make each one incrediably unique? Why not all share this one symbol that wards of the predator.
And who in the world is narrating here? I never got it.

6414896 I should probably explain my comment a bit better. The unique mark is a biproduct of the magic in the Cutie Marks; unfocused magic can be unpredictable, thus resulting in different marks that represent one of the ponies inbred talents. A weak explanation I guess but if one day you figure out something better let me know haha.
And yeah, I tries to make it as obvious as possible without flat out saying "I'm slendermane; boo!" Haha I'm sorry if that was confusing
I very much enjoyed this one. It's creepy stories like this that make fear so much fun. And the Slendermane is so charismatic for a monster. I'd love to hear more stories from his POV

I feel this story should get more attention, as it is well written and has an interesting premise. Also, food for thought, if someone made this into an overarching story, there is something to consider. If starlight glimmer took away the cutie marks of an entire small town, won't they all be in danger of this "Tall station"? A grim point to use when confronting her, informing her of the dangers of not having a cutie mark. (I know this person has not been log on for two or so year by now, but I still want to say something at least.)
