6347296 Admittedly this hasn't done as well as I'd have hoped but that's how I do my one shots: I think of an idea via inspiration, I draft it, do some basic editing, push it out, and deal with the consequences later. If people don't enjoy it, that's entirely their prerogative. As my bio says, as goes my mantra: It seemed like a good story idea at the time.
So, it's all good.
Personally, I don't see what the title of the chapter has to do with the story. Still, it was undoubtedly a good story.
I love winters, because the cold is easy to counter: one just has to wear warm clothes. If only heat were as easy to live with. Then again, that might depend on where one lives (I've never seen it snow in my area).
6347430 For my oneshots, I always put the title of the only chapter as something that has nothing to do with anything. It's just a style of mine and really has no meaning. Glad you enjoyed the story, though!
And yeah, you can only undress so much for heat, but I personally hate the extreme cold... AND the extreme heat.
