I am glad that some one is doing a Gurren Lagan/MLP crossover because most of the time some one dose it they stop part way through or distort it into something it is not suppose to be.

I didn't notice any major problems with the story, though I do find a bit weird that Zecora wouldn't hear the manticore.

Kamina could have Pinkie and Twilight collaborate on making a new Gunman for him as well. I also wonder if spiral energy (Kamina apparently had the least spiral energy on his own out of the whole cast) is some kind of super magic compared to the magic ponies use.

Honestly, I think Gurren Lagann only got good after Simon took power and went to space to defeat the Anti-Spiral races. That being said, Kamina was the best part of the pre-going-to-space time.

It feels like he's a bit OP and while thats...sort of the point of Gurren Laggan it;s also about getting better. Having Kamina struggle with his first enemy in Equestria would set a presedent for him to try harder

Well, I had a plan for that actually... but now that you mention it, I probably jumped the gun with super strength. I definitely do not want to turn this into one of those childish fanfictions where the main character is OP as all hell. But it's not like I can just wipe away just that part and rewrite in a better way this early on... Well, if I were to do that i'd have to make a complete restart of the story itself, and I can't just do that!....

Have you ever read 'John Carter of Mars' by Edgar Rice Burroughs? It's an old school sci fi, but it does bring up something you can use.
Question: How big is Equus?
Assumption: Equus is the size of Mars.
Fact: Creatures used to 1G being placed in .38G environments have more relative strength than those that inhabit that environment natively.
Conclusion: Kamina would have normal strength in a fragile environment for approximately 5 minutes before he asphyxiated from the rarified atmosphere.
Mind you, for those five minutes, he probably wouldn't be able to do anything without breaking something. (LIke Zecora's bowls, tableware, and cooking pots, for instance... Hint, hint.)

I haven't read it before but I've seen the movie. And yeah, I was gonna go for something like that except it would be about his mass, where everything on equestria is just WAY lighter and much more easier to break to him because of how compact his mass is. Basically, it would be like he was swinging around an eighteen-wheeler when he punches and holds back.

6345534 Sure I do it all the time. Very often in writing (fanfiction otherwise) you will need to go back and edit.
The only problem is that people who have already read your unedited material maybe confused. but the benifits is a more cohesive story for future readers and a better vision over all. I've often even got "editors" to help me

I am interested in seeing how Kamina reacts to the bright colorful world of MLP. I'd say he'd go crazy from boredom, but Equestria has proven itself to be a surprisingly dangerous place so no worries about a lack of action I guess. I hope Pixel Paladin doesn't have Kamina jump ship and just settle into this world too fast without thinking of trying to get back to Team Dai-Gurren. But so far, I find the portrayal believable. Confused and in a slight daze over his 'death', Kamina wastes no time wondering about things he can't solve now. NO! Kamina goes out and sees what's going on and where the hell he is. At the sight of a beastly creature attacking a smaller figure, it's only natural to run in and save the day. After all, it's just what a man does!
I think I lost myself for a second. Uh... good start, and I look forward to see where the hell this is going.
oh, and here's looking forward to his encounter with Dash and the battle over awesomeness and seeing Vinyl Scratch who has excellent taste in eye-wear.
Personally, I always prefer Breaker over Break when it comes to that attack. It just feels more complete.
