Geez, I just got caught up yesterday and already a new chapter.
Good chapter though, no arguments here from having Twilight join the Brotherhood, just want to say, Ad Victoriam.
Well... that was unexpected! I didn't think Twi would even get recruited onto the BoS...
But what ever happens, their legend will live on, and if the White Knives attack they will fight with weapons in hand and make one last stand!
No problem having Twilight joining BoS. I myself often joins them. There not the most recommend folks, but in retrospective none of the other factions are. And to be honest, I never could go so far in a Fallout game without power armour.
I'm doing pretty well in my current play of New Vegas in light armour using stealth and fully modified Varmint Riffle (and recently acquired Ratslayer), but when ambush in close combat I'm getting wreck. Had to restart six time the final part of Vault 22 mission.
Anyway Hunter Rose has given a valuable piece of advice to calm Twilight, though the latter should really start to be more careful, cause I see the addiction to whiskey pointing it's noise very quickly.
7489131 have you seen the movie, 'Lost Battalion'?
7489433 Nope, never even heard of it until now
*Takes note to fit this conversation into his own fic as well, already has an idea on how.*
Sugarcoat has joined CWN HQ, always good to have fresh and reliable allies! Also Twilight has followed my basic rules of any Fallout game, let's join the Brotherhood! It's the only faction that generally doesn't tick me off, and you get pretty sweet perks for doing so, gotta love it. It's also a good way to get the girls back on the railroad, gotta keep the plot moving and this is a very believable way to keep it moving.
Also I don't think it's bad to borrow ideas from the source material at times, especially for a crossover of this nature. There are only so many storylines to tell, so sometimes you just gotta re-tell things but with your own twist, I know I do heh.
It was another great chapter man, good for my inspiration and good for the readers. Keep up the excellent work
7489444 Awesome movie, and the song fits the scenario they end up in quite well.
You should watch it at some point.
Quiet times are useful times, especially when you can go shopping.
If Twilights nightmares get any worse, she wont need to find the portal, Luna will haul her back through Tantabus Space.
Zodiac: Tis looking good for our young lavender alicorn. I hope she doesn't let the nightmare control her every waking thought, it would be trouble if the nightmares continue or get worse. Sighs I wish I could join her in her journey but alas, I've already went through something similar to this and I do not wish to be a burden. That and this is her story, I shall not interrupt when her chapter has just begun
Not surprised that the second half was basically taken from the start of the Broken Steel DLC. If Canterlot's anything to go by, it'll basically take cues from the Dead Money DLC minus your stuff being taken away for most of your stay. Pretty sure that the Cloud or whatever it's called here can drain health from the player character and if Fallout:Equestria is anything to go by, your stuff will fuse with your body. I'm also hoping that whatever magic Twi, Spike and Sunset have on 'em will give some resistance. All in all, I liked the Trottingham arc and I'm seriously hoping that the rest of the Mane Seven will appear... and if it's not going into spoiler territory, Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Shining's human counterparts.

Thanks

Sabaton is awesome, and I'm hyped for their new album!

Neither could I. My gameplay style usually involves middle distances, so power armour is the best way to wreck the enemies. How on earth people would defeat Legate Lanius without one is beyond me.

Thanks for the comment

If only it were that simple.

Is Zodiac your OC?

I'd like to try and avoid ripping off Dead Money DLC, if possible. It's way too long before Canterlot, so I'll hopefully think of something.
But yeah, losing stuff sucks.
No, mutated CPAX-12 strain just kills you.

Good chapter! I can honestly say I have no complaints about this one.
I used to be the same way. Power armor and the most devastating weapons I could get my hands on. Then I started playing wearing equipment that boosted stealth rather than defense and packing the best sniper rifle I could get my hands on. Took some getting used to, but it has done me well.
Even more when I installed a mod that increases all damage (Friend and foe alike) by a multiple of 20. Helped to eliminate bullet sponge enemies, but also meant a well placed bullet could take me out in a shot or two (sometimes even with power armor).

I managed it without power armor....hell without really doing a hell of a lot. I pulled this one off on my very short, brief FO:NV Survival mode run. All I had to do, was abuse the ballistic power fists I took off some of the other legionaries, and then abuse the ever living daylights out of it and nt give the guy a fair fight
AND AJ HAS A HELMET... thank you very much
7504884 Wibbly-wobbly?

Sorry, didn't watch Dr. Who.
I borrowed the phrase (except from the last line) from Tzeentch from If the Emperor had a Text-To-Speech Device parody series from YouTube, so it's totally possible the creator themselves have borrowed the phrase.
Рад, что тут есть русские люди.

Я тоже на этом сайте трудно найти соотечественников.
I think the end of the Trottingham arc is a good point to leve comments on your story.
Hoofington....underground tunnels! When I read this a shiver run suddenly along my spine.
Four bullets, serious bleeding, perhaps chunks of armour in the wounds. Possible pain shock. Can't see if arteries are damaged. If they are, death from exsanguination highly likely.Yes. My dreadful feeling was definitely confirmed. This is something you should expect to happen beneath Hoofington!
I don't know if it was intentional of you or I'm reading too much from this because I have recently finished reading Somber's fanfictions, but I got strong Project Horizons vibes from the part in the Hoofington tunnels. The part where Sunset risks loosing a limb strengthens this feeling.
In addition this part of the dream Twilight had after arriving in Appletown reminds me of the scene with the “flesh chamber” inside Horizons Labs. Were those citations intentional?
In this arc you have introduced a good deal of major player in the story, I like it so far how you have approached the bigger conflicts. You have shown Sunset and Twilight fighting along group of different factions early in the story and non just the duo on their own all the time. Two of the other human seven ave been introduced and I liked how you linked Rarity (aka Black Widow) with the more obscure side of Vault-Tec and their SPP. So you introduced magic through the arc with Adagio, and i'd like to see if magic pops up again end how you deal with the concepts of “Legend of Everfree” (I have to read the remaining chapters so I don't know if you t already explained how it will work).
So I see that all this part has lead to an increase in Twilight's reputation and to her being axepted in the Brotherhood of Steel.
Elder Aegis has no idea how momentous this occasion is, if only he knew that he just let an Alicorn Princess of Equestria in his ranks. I wonder how would he reacts if he discovers her true identity; before he has to process the fact that Twilight and Sunset come from another dimension where there is magic.
I like also how you dealt with Twilight adapting to kiling and I liked that until now her moral dilemma and her thoughts on what her pony friends would thik of her are alway present.
The discussion she has with Hunter is particularly interesting. I wonder what she'll have to sacrifice to reach her goal.

Not intentional, I didn't start to read Project Horizons back then even now, I haven't progressed far, real life issues.
Again, no, I never read that part. Damn the coincidences are uncanny, I wonder why...
...great minds think alike?
*Extradimensional Alien tries to convince himself he can write as well as Somber and Kkat * LOL JK.
Thanks
Thanks I went through several variants on a character having this particular background plot before making the choice.
Future chapters have some first hints on dealing with concepts of LoE, but nothing major.
Heh-heh, if (if!) I ever get around to this, this would be funny
Well, you'll have to read further on as I release the future chapters... I have some goooooood things planned
Is the commissaiat assault armor like marine combat armor?
right? you ever gone back and fooking checked twi?
Can't tell if goof or country bumpkin math, but.... Applejack, two caps for three bullets is a better deal than one cap for one bullet. It basically buy two get one bullet free.
