GDI...I'm so tempted to read this but I haven't even finished the fallout equestria the other guy wrote! lol
7283085
Read it at your leisure; and Kkat, the author of the original Fallout: Equestria is a "she", unless you meant someone else.
Ah, nothing better than a firefight to end a chapter. And now... IT'S LOOTING TIME!
Well you have caught my attention, I will definitely mark this as a read later and receive updates. I will read when I have time probley read it some over the weekend. I was wondering when someone would do a story like this.
Twilight manage to survive a lot better this time, not even needing medical attention, never mind advanced surgery. Will her luck last now though or is it saving up for the party on the dance floor?
Does Spike get any XP, or is he classed as pet or companion animal to Twilight and so shares stats with her?
7283154
Loot! Yay
But later. Plus, Brightlight will want a share, too.
7283170
Thanks, I hope my story will be interesting enough.
I myself wondered how come no one had tried to write a story like this when I started writing it back in 2015. So I decided to claim the spot
7283290
Each firefight is different. That, and milspec armour helps, even if it's standard issue and not urban assault suit.
Unfair as it might be to Spike, yes, he is classed as a companion animal. I don't have a separate sheet for him.
7283329
Alright, everyone will have their part. Here, that's yours.
*The Brightlight's guard opens the sack, only to find a broken pipe pistol, an half empty box of BB ammo, a rusty switchblade, a dirty sock with a hole, a clipboard and a tin can.*
Hey, that's not fair. Why do you have all the cool stuff? *Pointing at the power armors, the assault rifles, and a huge pile of ammo and caps*.
Cuz we looted them first and we're the protagonists.
Twilight, ya can't leave them with just the junk- Hey wait! Is that aluminum? *Grab the tin can from the sack.* Sweet, I need it for crafting!
(AJ has a settlement, your argument is invalid...)

Geez, that was an intense chapter! Wonder what exactly is causing this 'zombie' plague....
It's a complete shame that Paladin had to be mercy-killed. Anyway, I'll bet that Sunset's old house is near Brightlight.
AJ New Perk: Second Wind when critically injured gain +25% Weapon damage
7283372
No one in Brightlight knows how to use power armour. Neither does anyone of the girls except Applejack.
Not her anymore, Big Mac haz a settlement now
7283487
Spoilers. Y'all hafta wait for moar chaptars
7283582
No, it isn't, it's in the south-western part of Trottingham, while Brightlight is in north-western one. The girls have practically half a city to cross, especially considering they cannot wander into ground zero.
7283632
Methinks it's not the time yet. But thanks for the idea
7283724 Well, they can still sell the extra sets or use the parts to repair the one used by AJ. Then again, isn't it what many people do when they play a Fallout game? Hoarding power armors even if we use only one, just to have a collection in display that would put Iron-Man to shame?

Technically yes, but she's still his sister, so you can say ... it runs in the family *YEAAAAAH!*
Loved the chapter and eagerly await more.
Nice to see the story progressing, good job
Why do I have a feeling that JUST getting the magical communication book is just the EASY part of this story? Oh, wait, it IS.
7283892
Thanks
7285091
Thank you as well
7285571
O RLY? There's a whole city full of dangers.
7283778
Good grief this is ridiculously hilarious. What did the owner of said collection do, blow up the whole Brotherhood?
(Raiders wearing power armour is HERESY.)
7285818 Nah, just walked around the Commonwealth collecting power armors lying around (Fallout logic: no one else in 200 years bothered to take them, even if they were in plain sight... same thing that happens with ammo, food, weapon, misc objects... which doesn't really make sense with all the people that must have scavenged the ruins in all this time ... you know what, better don't think too hard about it.)
Nope, a raider wearing power armour is just a bigger target
gamerevolution.com/images/misc/fallout-4-raider-veteran.jpg
7286294 No problem. And I'm glad you see it that way.
~Nightjar
7285818 That's actually a perfectly fair collection of just those scattered around the Commonwealth. I can think of five off the top of my head. Not counting the freebie in Concord.
I'm waiting for sunset to get her hands on a sledge hammer as it suits her quite well like in the fist movie.
7287073 Considering I found a full set of t-51 power armor in a crate. It's not hard to find rare types of power armor either, granted I was level 103 when I found it.
7288769
I get the reference, but I do not consider sledgehammers a practical weapon. I'll think about it.
Thanks for the idea
7289016 No prob, I am trying to write a fic using this idea and yeah, I don't think that's a practical weapon of choice so it can be something like this ( Sunset Shimmer's Uncanny Luck of encountering Sledge hammers wherever she goes) You can use this as a perk or something. Sorry I don't play fallout or rather can't.
This chapter kind of reminded me of advice I'd heard from a D&D DM once, especially if you had Lawful Good party members in your group, about how you don't present your players with the option to kill evil babies in your campaign. An Orc will always grow up to be an Orc, but players always feel bad killing a baby. It hasn't done anything yet, but you know for certain they will once they grow up, so do you kill them? What a good way to fracture the party!
And ah yes good, Slavers, was wondering when they'd show up. They're my favorite Fallout enemies to kill, the bastards. We have successfully made it to Trottingham though, what twists await us in the city!
As always, a good chapter Alien! There is a wait, but it's always worth it ^_^
So after three days of reading I have caught up with the story. The only question I have is there any chance of SunLight happening in this story?
7290401
Thanks, happy to hear that the chapter was up to the snuff
7290734
Since Twilight is still infatuated with Flash Sentry (and the feeling is mutual) as of now, SunLight is possible only as friend-shipping. However, I still don't have OTPs set in stone yet, and I am not certain if there will be any real romance. Note that I don't even have a "Romance" tag.
7291621 I noticed, but I will continue to hold out hope for my otp.
You know, as much as I enjoy shooting the limbs off of raiders and super mutants, there is just something special and satisfying about killing a slaver that you can't get elsewhere in a Fallout game. Although I am surprised that Twilight didn't get on Sunset's case for flat out torturing someone for information, even if he was a slaver. Its been too long since I read this story last, but I can't seem to recall if Twilight witnessed anyone getting tortured before this.
At any rate, another great chapter.
