Every pony deals with grief differently. Some face it head on, while others, well, others tend to push those feelings down, deep, deep down, and ignore them for most of the time. Especially if there's work to be done.

But sometimes, you just have to let them out.

Wow! This is really good!
You have an amazing gift for describing emotions! This was a painfully beautiful story!

Thank you so much! I've always been drawn to the more emotional aspect of stories, as I find it most satisfying to be able to move the reader.

I'm glad you liked it! :ajsmug:

So much to get used to . . . :derpytongue2:

Thanks!

My goodness. This made me absolutely want to cry, though I mean that in a complimentary way toward your literary skill. You have a wonderful way with words and I hope to see more from you... though not too soon. Gotta fill the reservoir of ye ol' "feels" before I can read something like this again. :fluttercry:

Have a like, a favorite, and a follow, all well-earned and fully deserved.

Oh my god, this was really powerful. The detail you put into her emotions was a nice balance to the subtlety of the actual deaths, and the part at the end about Mac just tied everything together in a nice little bow. Have a fave and an upvote!
