I want to love this story.
I want to love it so hard. The writing was fantastic, a careful attention to well placed details, and lastly, a very realistic scenario.
But there in lies the problem.
This happened to me. And when me and my ex got back together, she cheated on me. And when we got back together 2 more times, cause I was an idiot, she did it again. And also, she didn't even like me at that point.
She did something known as sympathy dating- dating someone unpopular to make ppl feel bad for you. She said she didn't want to be popular.
Yeah. Don't take my dislike to heart. I look forward to a sequel, and I really think you provided a moral, silent and unseen among masses. A moral that some ppl still need to learn, despite being in their 20s.

I am so reading this later tonight! When my boyfriend broke up with me, I still liked him and i was so depressed and sad. I listened to this song, like, every day and it really helped me out of that depression. Even though I'm not in the clear yet, the song helped me so much. I cant wait to read this!
I looked at the cover image, remembered the song, and knew this was gonna be an awesome story.
I'll be honest here, and pardon me if I'm a little blunt, as I do like it: it has great potential for a sadfic. But, it's in need of some serious editing.
Some of the phrasing seems clunky, and the fic itself felt a little rushed. It needs lengthening in several areas to let the emotional weight of the situations presented truly sink in.
Still worth an upvote, and not at all bad, but I wasn't nearly as invested as I should've been.
