i had to downvote, i didn't like the way you wrote this.

the aim was to write a mature story, so i wasn't expecting such immature behavior as well as forced jokes. the first thing that took me out of the story was the cake joke. just because pinkie can break the 4th wall is not a reason or excuse to have her spew random popular culture references. yes the joke made sense but in order to do so she had to go into a hunger induced fantasy. this is hard to believe since its bearly been a few hours since they ate. this is something i would have expected from a nonsensical comedy not a mature work. lastly, i stopped reading when pinkie admitted she likes rocks that way. her reaction just seemed way too immature, like a 10 year old.

I felt like the cake joke bludgeoned the audience and nearly left it out (in fact, I may take it out). I'll need to work on being more subtle in the future. As far as Pinkie's character goes, she is immature, but that doesn't seem to really conflict with the "mature" rating of the fic in my head. Childish characters are written in explicit situations all the time, and of course, Pinkie isn't your typical "childish." Still, I get that it's an unpopular thing to write, probably because over-the-top and goofy aren't something people expect in mature fiction. I suppose a slight drop in popularity might be the price I pay for loving Pinkie's brand of levity. I wanted to rate this Teen, but couldn't do it in good conscience with a direct reference to masturbation, incest, and a foal's doubted innocence. I suppose I could have avoided mentioning anything quite so explicitly so that i could have lowered the rating, but I think I wasn't driven or talented enough to accomplish that in what I consider more of a writing exercise than an actual story.

I wonder how else this first attempt could have gone better, and your comment gives me food for thought. At the very least, I've seen a way to clarify the fic's description for readers. Thanks for reading!

6016113 I enjoyed the story and I'm guessing from some of the other comments it is inspired by a recent episode that I haven't seen.

I'm used to your lengthier stuff that has a depth which weighs on the mind but this has reminded me that I should also read your shorter works from the collab.

I don't know if you intended to be a tease and I am not trying to request such but I can only imagine how it would be interested to see your particular depth applied to pinkie & maud or RD & scootaloo at some point in the future if the inspiration were to strike you.

Scoot/Dash where Scoot is an attention seeking closet pervert is actually an angle I've yet to see done in any satisfying amount of depth. Fly Away, Sweet Scootaloo touches on it, but it only satisfies my love of forced rage sex (rape) rather than my love of shame and lust, and it ends sadly.
