So, for Sparity, sex is fun but not productive, since it isn't resulting in foals. Obviously the others are doing things with their mates and it works fine, even for Rarity's sister Sweetie Belle. And obviously foals result. I can assume that Flutters and Discord have did some bedroom activities as well, since it showed that Fluttershy showed up with an egg.
So the only way for Spike and Rarity to have kids is to temporarily turn Rarity into a dragonness (inside at least) so she could be able to accept Spike's dragon swimmers?? I call BS. The FlutterCord (implied) showed that dragons and equines can mate. Not to mention that there have been other instances where dragons are universal breeders--doesn't care what species, offspring will be conceived.
Obviously you have a plan for all of it though, so I will have to look for more...

This would give celestia a reason to at least have better ties with the dragon nation and start getting some social changes done. Though I can already see a problem here. Rarity has always tied to intergrate herself in noble circles with varying results. You better have twilight and cadence help them with the whole nobles might send assassination experts after the kids thing. Considering blueblood and others like him this is a valid concern.

6069873 Well, it's not FlutterCord, it's DisLestia, but Fluttershy came with the egg as a gift to Rainbow Dash, I just didn't address it anymore. I should have, and I'll probably change the chapter a bit. But the DisLestia problem is they go to Zecora as well, as Twilight recommends it. My headcanon is that ponies can mainly mate with ponies, so Spike's sperm doesn't work with Rarity's non fertile egg. Just like Discord with Celestia.
And yeah, I can see what you're getting at, with the whole thing. Rarity, her womb being transformed basically into a dragons womb to grow the eggs. I hadn't thought of it that way, so...
And RD is with Soarin, from the Wonderbolts; Sweetie Belle with Button Mash, a fan made character; Apple Jack with Caramel, he's an long since seen background pony; Twilight with Flash Sentry; Rarity with Spike, of course; Fluttershy later gets together with Bulk Biceps, one of the side characters from season 4's episode Rainbow Falls; and Luna gets together with a random bat pony from her Royal Guard. And since he's still a bat PONY, it works.
6069981 I hadn't thought of the Noble's Trying to Kill the Foals thing. It makes sense that some ponies wouldn't like the fact that there's a new species, but the species basically fades away over a few generations, since the dragon-pony foals breed with regular ponies. It'll be explained later in the story, don't worry.
And the noble's worst problems aren't just the hybrid foals, it's also Celestia and Discords hybrid foals as well. I've created two foals for Tia and Discord already, they just don't have a story at this moment.
6071113 yeah this is just like what happened to the sea-ponies from generation one. Seems they been turned into the sirens from rainbow rocks. Anyone else noted the similarities there. We know g1 does have some canon to the fim verse through tirek. So I'm not going to be surprised sea ponies were evolved to the sirens. Not much has changed with them. Just the verbal quirk and design. The singing is pretty much the same. If they ever make a reappearance in equestria a similar situation as the dragon pony hybrid foals will be in, I mean changelings were revealed as a new race of ponies during the wedding fiasco. They just had a good time hiding their prescience. They had to as frankly it's this kind of situation. Which makes it a valid threat to the foals. I'm drawing this from not only canon but in some cases real life as well. Also I hate to point this out but discord is not a dragon but a being I think is related to a chimera to be honest. The only dragonic trait I saw in him is the two horns bit. Everything else was from different lifeforms. Discord does have some pony DNA that much is certain so him not being able to have kids with celestia is kinda wrong.
