A support group for formerly evil characters turned good is started in Equestria. Seems they've been getting a bad reputation all around the country, and so they can't get new jobs or move on with their lives. But one new member is having extreme difficulty coping with her new legal stigma, and is fearing for the future.

Hmmm.... call me imperceptive... but I sense from the lack of comments on this story, that either a lot of you are either too preoccupied with following other, more interesting stories than this one... or that, quite simply, I may have gone out on a limb with weaving an MLP fan-fiction around a very sensitive, or even taboo, topic of social discussion.

If that is the case... (*Sigh*) I suppose I can't blame you for being too scared to comment on it. And I won't try to scare you further on how this topic has anything to do with my own life, personally or professionally. I simply saw this as, well.... another way of trying to turn a negative, into a positive. If this was not the right way to go, then, well... my sincerest apologies, and I promise not to write any further on the matter.

On the other hand, if you did find something good in it, please tell me so, ASAP. I invite discussion-----any kind will do----on this 10-chapter opus.

Have re-tooled my paragraph of Gilda Griffon's testimonial.

After reviewing my 'old school' box-set collection of Sesame Street these past few mornings (to wake me up over breakfast) I NOW realize just who Gilda reminds me of----Oscar the Grouch. (And: Muppeteer Carole Spinney recently gave a talk at my local college's PBS affiliate studio for "PBS Public Speaks," prompting me to dust off the old DVD set and watch it again.) He may be negative and cranky, but that doesn't make him a bad guy; just...different. Just like Gilda. So in a way, that kind'a makes Griffonstone....the Grouchland of Equestria, right? :pinkiegasp: Just a thought.
