This is a sequel to The Battle City Crown (If there are any spelling mistakes, or if something doesn't make sense, send me a message immediately!) After dueling in the park for a while, the mane seven decide to go shopping. Sunset then finds one of the seven millennium items at a small stand. Later Pinkie's new friend Bakura challenges Rainbow to a duel, but before they start, he sends the girls to the shadow realm and traps them in their favorite cards. Thanks to her new item, Sunset is safe. Now the only way to set her friends free is to beat Bakura is a shadow duel. (It's a cross between the first shadow duel and the duel with Bonz in the graveyard.) Next story is Dueling Rocks.

I highly suggest getting an editor. It's not so bad as to be unreadable, but there's still a lot to correct.
As for the plot itself:
I'm afraid I have to say I don't agree with your choice of deck for RD. I get that the Crystal Beasts DO have a rainbow motif, but Dash herself doesn't really have much of a rainbow motif beyond her name, coloration, and the Sonic Rainboom. She's more about speed, so something like Mecha Phantom Beasts or, heck, even Blackwings would make more sense for her, and the Crystal Beasts would be better suited for Rarity. But, of course, if I'm really pedantic, the Crystal Beasts don't even fit Rarity all that well either, and it would make more sense to give her Gem Knights, since they're not only based on precious stones, but also have the 'nobility' thing going for them.
As for Twilight, at least give her a specific archetype of Spellcasters. I get she's probably supposed to have a deck based off of Yugi, but I've always imagined Twilight absolutely refusing to use anything besides the Prophecy archetype, since most of their support comes in the form of the Spellbook spells.
But, what, this is your story. Do with this information what you will. I'm still gonna read this.
Well, all in all, I have to say that the story wasn't awful. Now, mind you, it wasn't great, but I would enjoy reading it again after I forget what happens in it. At least, assuming you run this through a severe editing process.

I like the over all idea but I would have chosen a dffferent deck for Rainbow, something with speed like the speedroids or mecha phantom best, but consindering there weren't really much of the speedroids as you came out with this story I will let it slide, but I really like the idea of Madolche to Pinkie
