Twilight's daughter comes home in tears and asks about her father. This leads to the unveiling of a six-year secret that the rest of the town wished forgotten.
This is an alternate universe to my 2nd-person Sensual Fiction Truth or Dare. It takes place eight and a half years after the events of the epilogue. Special thanks to Howitzer for spurring me on to write and gushing over my first story, and Youtube user PhillyPu for giving me the inspiration to write this.

Ooh, I really like the idea you have here. However, I notice there is a slight leap of logic in regards to the other ponies themselves. Why would Diamond Tiara still be in school even after giving Twilight the time to partner up with someone and have a child? Wouldn't she be of teenage years by then? I can understand Cheerilee still teaching, but the fact that Twilight's grown daughter would be in the same class as the CMC and company doesn't quite add up. That's a nitpick though, nothing really big.
I'll be watching to see what you do with this.

I'd have to re-watch Family Appreciation Day again, but if you think about it for a minute, part of the reason he was acting so agreeable during that episode was because the Apple family is responsible for his family's success. Twilight, being an outsider and in no way affecting his success (right now, anyway), thinks he can act like a high-and-mighty douche all he wants.

I'm not sure if you noticed, but the term 'stud' is considered a very bad thing, in this story's case, used like the term 'slut'. Much as close to normal equine behavior as this may be (I don't really know, I'm no expert), comparing our normal society's standards to the FiM universe, it seems like having more than one marefriend (or coltfriend for females), even though the relationship is consensual, is considered taboo and a big no-no, or at the very least not spoken of openly.

Hell, I'm the same way. Rising Sun, my longest story, has had no forethought whatsoever. Well, that's not entirely accurate. I tend to think of some general events that I want to happen, then I write to make them come to pass. But the small events, and even some big ones, are totally spur of the moment. The very recent events of Chapter 35 were totally spur of the moment. And people probably thought I planned that whole sequence out...

You might have to read Chapter One again. My Chekhov's Gun (which has obviously jammed so far but is out in the open) has been redesigned. A good idea came to me a couple of days ago (while I was in the shower before I had to go to work, of all the ridiculous times to get an idea), and I'm running with it.

I switched the 'your' at the very end to 'Red Zircon'. I felt it too premature, and it didn't seem to fit. I am thinking of putting 'you' back in there, just...now doesn't feel like the right time.
I know this chapter was short, but I felt that if this part was at the end of Chapter Six or at the beginning of Chapter Eight, it wouldn't have as much of an impact as I feel it does.

Polyamory isn't unheard of, and I did have a couple of friends that were in such a relationship. I, for one, was all for it. I mean, it made all parties involved happy, and all parties involved had the same level of respect and trust for each other as those in a regular monogamous relationship, so I didn't (and still don't) see any reason to give them any grief.
