Hi, I'm British, and you're reading a bunch of stuff you don't really care about! Yay! Go easy on me, I'm still finding my way around.

A collection of non-connected 100 word (or as close as my frankly idiotic word counter will allow) drabbles, exploring the Pinkie Pie x Rainbow Dash ship. Written a while ago as my first feeble steps into the fandom, I hope that the quality of the writing herein somewhat excuses the pitiful quantity. Any advice is welcomed, encouraged, and adored.

Edit: These aren't connected in a chronological sense. You can try and puzzle out a timeline if that floats your boat, but I didn't intend for them to fit together in any way but thematically.

Chapters (10)

I'll make a better comment at a saner hour. Suffice to say I enjoyed this quite a bit and I think that it is very well done.

Are these supposed to be chronological? I can't quite tell

Oop! Knew I forgot something during the writeup. Nah, they're not really connected, although I'm told that if you squint hard enough they sort've progress from a pre-relationship type of thing in the beginning to an established relationship at the end. I didn't plan that, though, so, yeah.
tl;dr: Nnnnnnnnnope. Not chronological.

Glad you liked them, and thanks for taking the time out to comment! :pinkiehappy:

Pretty good, I was a little confused and it was short but it was nice. Refreshing even, a nice short tale. Usualy I enjoy long stories but lately I just can't get into anything longer than 2k words so this was a nice change of pace. Thanks.

I think this one is my favorite.

Rainbow Dash? She can fly.
But Pinkie? Defies gravity.

The drabble itself is beautiful, but with This, with this you have won my heart.

I think I might add this to my read later list which is growing too long:facehoof:

551494

How many do you have? :pinkiecrazy: I have 80

551159
I know what you mean. That's one of the reasons I do little things like this- sometimes you just need a fix, but you just don't wanna slog through 5000+ word chapters. :ajsleepy:
551287
A lot of people say that's the best one. :twilightblush: Truth be told, I like Blind Eye more, if only for the giggle value. Now, if only I was capable of writing stuff like Defiance reliably...
551494
Woo! Thanks for giving it a shot. I know stuff like this isn't everyone's cup of tea, so it's great when people give them a chance. (Since I'm a noober, my Read Later list still only has one thing on it... :trollestia:)
To all of you: Thanks for taking the time out to comment. I really appreciate it! :pinkiehappy:

^Gotta agree with that, 1200%. Probably the single greatest line I've ever read in a fan-fic. I love all these drabbles, but this...this one is PERFECT.

552363
They're all lovely. And for what it's worth, I think "Blind Eye" is the funniest of them, without question.

(Poor Twilight. Poor Fluttershy.)

552857
:applejackconfused: Don't muddy the issue with your fancy mathematics! But yeah, wow. That's a big percentage. It's even bigger than 20%, and 20% is best percentage! Glad you enjoyed the collection as a whole, in addition to the 'golden line'.
553647
Poor, poor pussycat. I mean, Fluttershy. Every time I need to crack a joke, she's the victim, and for every joke I crack I adore her more because it's just so easy. Thank ya kindly for the recommendations, by the way!

Ah, I remember reading these on FFNet...faved, provided you continue writing RainbowPie.

Or faved anyway, even if you don't. Either one, really.

557587
Wow, you read these on FF net? That already deserves a cookie, top hat, monacle, moustache, or whatever internet certification of awesome you so desire.
The problem with writing RainbowPie is that I'm so bad at it. Pinkie Pie just makes my characterisation flail so badly. :pinkiesad2: I'll give it a shot, though. Thanks for taking the time out to fave and comment!

Each one of these is awesome. Well done.

551823I dunno about the same as you :unsuresweetie: I really gotta get onto reading this stuff :twilightblush:

554022 Nah, I think I'd love this if I wasn't lazy :ajbemused:

561624
Sorry for the late reply. Sleep dep and getting too caught up answering all the other notifications in my inbox. Boy, this site's sure dynamic...Glad you liked 'em, especially since they were my first real stories for the pony fandom.

I can sympathise with laziness. I encourage, support and adore it as a characteristic of mankind. If we weren't so lazy, someone would have gotten out of their chair, pushed a little red button and nuked us back into atoms by now.

Finally getting around to commenting! Okay, I loved these on ff.net and I've gotta say I still love them. Great job

A nice and refreshing change from what we usually get. Short, concise, to the point and quite well-written as well. Quite a nice little package of cute, funny and even somewhat touching stories.

Now, who meddlesome, highly romantic unicorn type might possibly use purple ink?

Finally got around to replying! Glad you liked 'em!

Also strange in that it's not a troll or meta fic.
625392
...ohwait I know this one! Vinyl Scratch? :trollestia:

I want -you- to make a full fledged story out of this, it would be so grand! :twilightsheepish:

In a way, they're already fully fledged; as drabbles, brief snapshots in time, they're certainly not the worst you'll find (if I do say so myself), and the brevity is sort've the point, in a way. Still, I get what you mean. However, it wouldn't end well. I work far better in short stories than I do in long ones. Still, you never know. Seeing as each drabble is like an idea crystalised in amber, I might end up going back one day and making oneshots or something based on them.

There's a certain simplistic beauty to these, clean and effective as they are, like koans or haiku. I am really impressed by this.

I came here from present perfect`s suggestion. Despite some issues with some of the wording, there is a certain poetic beauty to the whole thing that really captivated me. In a way, the apparent lack of structure is very Pinkie Pie, but the brevity is very Rainbow Dash, and the two work together very well.

Not all of the poems hit home, but the ones that do are a home run, and I really liked reading it all.

HAHAHAH I laughed so hard at this! XD
And I also love your drabbles! They're so beautiful!

Oh, Pinkie! You and your imagination!

These drabbles are so beautiful! Simply beautiful! It would be so awesome if you wrote whole one-shots based on every drabble! Oh that would make my year! That's how much I love every chapter!

Wow, I feel pretty dumb. My first thought was that Pinkie wrote the admiration letter but didn't want to make things awkward and so pretended to have been set up. Ah well. I'm gonna continue believing that.

I like how this drabble gets the idea across so well despite how little is said(yes that is the point of the thing but I still think it is impressive).

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Damn.

That was good.
