As the Spiral Knights continue their exploration of the ever-changing Clockworks, HQ has decided to make the most accomplished squads, those who have stuck together for long periods of time, into spiritual successors of Alpha Squad called Named Squads. Delta Squad is one such example, as the members have come together despite differences and ever-changing tactics. Being the most offense-based Named Squad, they have done many danger missions and raiding missions on gremlin facilities.
However, one such raid will leave this squad of four stranded in a brand new, even more alien world. One with similar, yet different rules compared to those of the Clockworks. One full of new discoveries and new dangers. One full of... strange creatures and, oddly enough, friendship...
All things considered, with our band of knights being the aliens to the inhabitants of this world, being emissaries for their order might prove tougher than any challenge the Clockworks have thrown at them. After all, it's easier to hack and blast everything out of your way than it is to convince a random species you don't mean harm.
After all; how seriously can you take sentient quadrupeds who preach friendship and harmony, are candy colored, and look like they are part of the beast family?
Here's something a bit different for you guys. I hardly see and Spiral Knights crossovers and the ones I have found are always dead or dieing. So I figured I would try my hand at one.

My Little Pony belongs to Hasbro, Spiral Knights belongs to Three Rings, I own nothing but the story... and the knights I'm putting in because they are the knights I have in the game.

They recently released a gunner update which added a lot of potential to an arsenal on top of buffing some... less wanted weapons.
On a side note; how do you guys think the Equestrians (or just the Mane 6) will react to shadow damage weapons?

Video game on steam and a good one, basically you're a 'knight' on the planet and roam dungeons FOREVER :p I like it quite alot though it seems to be killer on my hard drive right now : / though laptop explains alot.

lots of system requirements for such a simple game eh? Whether you start a new knight or continue from an old one, I highly recommend the Grim Repeater. It's incredibly fun to mow down gremlins and slimes with it, especially bigger lichen colonys.

I tried to keep the mane six as in-character as I could, I figured ponies like Rainbow would act like that in the face of armored aliens.
Plus, this is one of my shots in the dark, as I've never written a scene like this. It was quite nerve-wracking to me.

You nearly forgot Dusk there, but i liked how the others were fighting.
There was a leader Team, which was somehow pretty cool. I like the Flame guy, and i guess the Dusk guy was my favourite, but i forgot which Counterpart he is, probably Rainbow Dash´s.
I don´t want to say they were more awesome, but the Team with Pinkie, Blast, and the other two, were pretty interessting as well.

In a way, I was trying to be subtle about who were parallel to who outside of Blast and Pinkie (I decided against being subtle with those two) but if you want the parallels more defined, I'll state it in the authors notes of the next chapter with my reasoning.
Also; glad to see my fight scene didn't totally suck. It WAS the first fight scene I've made since I started writing, so I expected it to fall on it's face.

With subtle you mean, which Knight is fitting with which Pony?, or do you meant.....i....forgot..,, well never mind, but most of the time i understand everything withouth really have to translate something.
I guess if you read english for a while, you start to remember certain words.
Your fighting scene was enough for me, usually i skipp some fighting scenes in other storys, if they are to detailed, or to overdone.
