Hmm. Latios and latias were my favorite Pokemon in the entire Pokemon world. Not too op and rather humorous Tendencies I cannot wait to see where this story leads. Just finished the first chapter and I must say that while it does seem rushed, you portrayed latias perfectly. or at least how I remember the duo act in the show. Hehe, keep writing and don't give up. I give you my full support for this story.

Great so far. Mistaking rainbow for latios... Her intelligence really shines here. Also, I must point out that pinkie pie and rainbow dash were both out of character. Pinkie was much more tame than she should be. Rainbow dash seemed and acted more like a stallion than a mare. Infact, I didn't realize that the targeted pony was rainbow dash until she said that she was a mare. I thought latias was hugging some random stallion. Rainbow was very willing to give latias a chance after being telepathically spoken to and basically telling latias to leave her alone. Other than that, the pacing did not seem to be an issue but how quickly twilight seemed to accept latias was also out of character. Of course I don't expect you to portray the characters perfectly, but would be nice if their cannon personalities shined more than not. Also, does this story take place after tirek? It was hard to tell.

The way I see it, they seem out of character because they're not in a natural setting yet. They may be in ponyville, but they're not in a normal situation. Then again, maybe my fannon version is different. Either way, if you still think they're ooc after a few chapters, let me know. I'll see what I can do.
So far its a great story. Could use improvements but overall I like it. You will be receiving a watch from me soon. The Mai conflict does not seem to have come up yet. The issue of latias's brother being lost does not have enough details. There is a lack of details for the following issues. The portal, is it latias's goal to get back to her world after not being able to find the presence of her brother in this new foreign world? The missing brother, earlier, it was mentioned that latios had died but latias went through the portal to find him anyway. Is he dead or simply misplaced?
