Twilight is losing it. The loss of a friend is hard, sure, but if you never make friends you can't truly be happy. The losses will happen, but that is just a fact of life. I hope she learns this soon. Great job again, Smayds. I'll be watching.

According to this story, she's a winged unicorn, not an alicorn.  Meaning she's no more special than any other unicorn.  She'd have been dead of old age for thousands of years.

Oh no... This is going to break my heart. It will completely shatter it. Reading this story will most likely cause me actual, physical pain. I'm actually considering stopping because I know how it ends. Damn, I am way too sensitive.

Cliche aside, once again you have produced a very high quality piece of work. There were no minor spelling or grammatical errors that disrupted the flow of the story.

I didn't even know you had set yourself a deadline. With all the amazing work on this site, I just hand out favourites like Pinkie Pie hands out confetti. It always makes me happy when a story is continued. (Oops. Better stop rambling.)

As much as Starburst was such a cliche (I just keep using that! )I loved every bit of it. I am such a sucker for that kind of thing. It made such a nice change from all the dark themes recently.

I think that is all I know that I want to say right now. You have done a amazing job. You deserve everything I can give you.

About happiness, should you write another sequel to Not my destiny, but just with super-dubber-happy ending timeline? As far as i have seen, there is no alicorn Twilight stories, that show what happened after being an alicorn became everyday life in Ponyville.

That you would do a happy ending that does not end in glimmers untimely death, Yes I know your not even there but wow do I want Twilight to have a happily ever after. Even if both husband and daughter die it be of natural causes not of tragedy and heartbreak. So that Twilight can become the princess that we all know she could be.

I kinda disliked the cynicism Twilight expressed when she was thinking to herself near the beginning of the chapter when she met the students and how quick she was to judge the "douche-bag".  However, the later scenes made up for it.

Whenever I come across an amazing work of prose, I am subjected to a violent physical reaction, such as Not my Destiny, Fallout: Equestria, The entire Scootaloo Dash trilogy, and others, You Smayds, have cracked the top ten uber-squees once again. My compliments. Tracked, liked, and you will now be rewarded with mustaches.

I really don't like this chapter. It was worse earlier today. I ended up adding SB's parents and rewriting most of the rest of it and I'm still not happy with it...

You can't win At least it gets ridiculously happy from this point on. Until halfway through Chapter 14, at any rate... Which is where you should stop reading if you want a "happily ever after," I guess!

forget happily ever afters IMO, people can't delude themselves into thinking everything turns out okay. I mean sure it's not like everything always goes bad but we all need a little sadness.

I think that it is a sign of maturity to accept death as a natural part of life and just face the future with a smile on your face.  Twilight should learn this.

I wouldn't be reading this if I hadn't read Nmd before. In fact, I think I've read it around Christmas holidays.

Based on what happened at the end, sure we could all jump to conclusion and say she'll you know what. But where would be the fun of reading if I already knew how it would end? I try to keep my mind opened to each possibility, and it makes each chapter more interesting since I'm not convinced it'll end like everypony thinks it will.

No body part was mentioned, the act itself wasn't shown. I've seen much worse on a PG-13 movie. And it was more romantic then sexual.

Also, a rather popular fic was Rated E. And it had some pretty bad implications (Two's company, Three's a crowd)
