Fluttershy eats jelly cubes

Fluttershy whimpered a soft yawn, stepping one hoof at a time slowly down the echoing stairs of her cottage, very slowly as each hoof gave a quiet creek barely louder than her own drowsy voice greeting the various animal inhabitants of her home. The shy yellow pegasus was never to loud in the morning, then again she wasn't much louder even when fully awake. Fluttershy's delicate hooves finally reached the ground level as she trotted slowly towards the kitchen.

“Good morning Angel Bunny.” Fluttershy's fragile voice called over to the bunny sitting on a raised seat by the table, he gave a glare to his carer tapping his little paw against the empty plate in front of him. The timid pony yawned again before replying. “It won't be a minute Angel, I just need to get the ingredients.” Fluttershy slowly opened various cupboards and drawers, gathering leaves and petals and vegetables together, landing them tiredly into a salad bowl on the counter. Before finishing she pulled out a large box of varying nuts and leaves, struggling to lift it over to the centre of the room before pouring the contents over the wooden floor. The pegasus almost tripped as she struggled to return to the kitchen with all the woodland animals scurrying towards the pile of food, being to tired to remember she could easily fly over them. Fluttershy gave a soft smile as she looked back to the happy animals before returning the box to the cupboard.

Angel Bunny picked up a small knife and fork, clattering them against the plate as he continued glaring at his drowsy carer. “Oh, oh yes coming Angel.” Fluttershy replied breaking from her day dream, lifting the bowl of salad to the table fluttering her wings slightly to aid in her movement. “I hope you enjoy it.” Angel peered down into the bowl, the carrots were not skinned, the lettuce dry and the fruits whole and uncut. The frustrated bunny looked up at his carer for a moment readying himself to rage, but as he looked into the tired ponies eyes he could see them staring back at him, causing him to quickly look away and start collecting his food from the bowl. “Good to see you like it.” Fluttershy quietly stated unaware to her subconscious stare before yawning once more, lowering her rump onto a stool by the table and her face down to the chequered cloth.

As Angel Bunny continued silently cutting and eating his salad, his carers tummy rumbled. 'I don't know what to have.' Fluttershy sighed softly, chewing on a potted plant in the centre of the table. The pegasus' eyes slowly readied themselves to close to the soft sound of Angel's eating as she almost drifted off to sleep again.

A loud crash came from outside the cottage door, startling the pegasus from her drowsiness. The door to the outside world flew open scaring Fluttershy, causing her to retreat behind her mane as the intruder burst through the door. “Hey Fluttershy!” The pink pony bounded into the room, bouncing towards her shy friend.

“Oh hello Pinkie Pie.” Fluttershy brushed her mane aside as she welcomed her guest with a caring but cautious look, recalling the loud crashing sound from earlier. “You aren't hurt are you?”

“Nope!” The invigorated earth pony continued bouncing around. “I have something super duper special for you!”

“Oh, what sort of.”

“It's super duper duper super special!” Pinkie interrupted her friend. “I mean it's so supery special that I don't even know if super or duper will cut it! I might need a new word! A superyduper!”

“Ermm, Pinkie.” The quiet pony tried calling out again as her friend continued.

“It's so superyduper that I knew it was the perfect gift for you!” Pinkie pulled off her saddle pack and held it in her lips facing her friend, fluttering her eyes cutely awaiting the response.

Fluttershy carefully swapped the pack between their mouths, lowering it onto the table and cautiously opening it, fearing another jack-in-the-box style gift, which Pinkie had been very used to giving ponies. “Well do you like it?!” Fluttershy emptied the contents of the pack onto the table, resulting in a single small squidgy packet landing with a quiet thud. The timid pony pressed at it with her hoof, feeling the packet give way as if the contents inside had no true solid form.

“Ermm, what is it?” She asked quietly, still prodding the small green packet.

“It's jelly of course! Or gelatin in other parts of Equestria, I don't get that it's silly. I mean why would ponies make it harder for other ponies to order tasty jelly by changing it's name, more time wondering what it is is less time eating the jelly! Maybe there was some jelly revolution, or jelly overthrew gelatin in areas and other gelatin rose up and covered them in tasty jelly goodness and...”

Fluttershy poked at the jelly packet further, still feeling confused as Pinkie continued with her story. “This doesn't feel like jelly though.”

“Then the mega robot jelly master shot his tasty beam at the gelatin fortress spreading the jelly over the world and, huh?” Pinkie broke from her aimless story. “Oh, well yes as you came from Cloudsdale, like I said the flying robot gelatin took over Cloudsdale in their rebellion against the jelly, so you would know of jelly as gelatin!”

“I, don't?” Fluttershy's mind felt like leaving the scene before Pinkie trotted beside her and grabbed the packet in her mouth.

“Looksie!” The earth ponies teeth tore open the packet, releasing a strong lime smell into the air as the substance inside dangled precariously outside the packaging, dangling in small cubes laying barely attached by a cylinder of the green substance between each four cubes. “Jelly!”

Fluttershy approached closer, lowering her head to the strong smell as she prodded the green substance. “Oh, it's like that bowl you had at the party.”

“uhuh.” Pinkie replied smiling happily before bouncing around. “I knew how much you liked it, so I thought I'd get you some more jelly! So I got you some jelly cubes!”

Fluttershy lowered her tongue to the jelly, licking at it cautiously before recoiling to the intense flavour. “It's stronger than before.”

“Well duh.” Pinkie returned her face to her friend upside down. “Of course it is, as you add it to warm water! That's how you get so much from it!” Pinkie began bouncing around, still upside down somehow before returning to her usual stance. “I knew you would love to have some so I got you lime, I couldn't find any other, but the green kind is just like you, like your greens and nature right! So it must be best!”

“Ermm, well thank you. I am sort of hungry.” The timid ponies stomach growled louder than her voice usually ever carried, awarding a snorting giggle from her pink friend.

“Of course you are, enjoy it! Just remember to add it to warm water first so you get more!” Pinkie stroked her friend's mane causing it to rough up slightly, scoring a soft warming giggle from the shy mare. As Fluttershy blew her mane back to it's original position to see, Pinkie Pie had already disappeared.

“Oh, bye Pinkie.” She smiled lowering herself back to the table, staring down at the jelly cubes before her. 'add warm water, hmm.' Fluttershy gently raised her rump from the stool, trotting slowly to the sink and lifting the tap to spray cold water into the collection of dishes she really didn't want to deal with. She picked up the iron kettle from the drying board and held it beneath the rushing water, filling it quickly before turning the tap back off. Fluttershy trotted carefully into the living room, avoiding the still eating woodland creatures as she gently placed the old kettle before the warming fireplace. She smiled happily to the idea of eating the jelly as she returned to the kitchen, sitting down at the table again.

The water was taking it's time to boil, mainly as Fluttershy never did get a new age kettle like her friends. She sighed softly staring down at the open packet of lime jelly cubes on the table. Before looking back up to Angel Bunny watching him busily stuffing his face, before looking back to the jelly cubes. Her tummy rumbled again even louder than before. 'Just one bite.'

Fluttershy looked around sporting a grinning smile as she made sure Pinkie wasn't anywhere to be seen. She lowered her lips down to the jelly cubes, lying open and vulnerable, and with a slight parting of her lips, she gently kissed the emerald surface.

Words couldn't describe the taste that pressed against the shy ponies lips, like kissing the very trees themselves, kissing an aspect of nature Fluttershy had yet to find. Angel Bunny watched on as Fluttershy returned her lips for a second kiss on the jelly's surface, and a third. Before long her tongue trailed out from her lips, licking passionately along the emerald surface. The intense taste fuelling her taste buds as she continued to enjoy her gift. She knew it was wrong, she knew she had to add warm water to it. But it tasted so good, the taste was so delicious.

'Just one bite.' Fluttershy gave off a pleased sigh as she opened her mouth, surrounding the edge of a jelly cube with her delicate mouth she softly bit down around the water like surface. Her teeth felt good cutting ever so gently through the emerald cubes, but as she reached the end, the flowing cut ended. She couldn't bite down any harder to the feeling of the compressed jelly at the base. Slightly upset the shy pegasus withdrew her teeth, but the jelly followed. As Fluttershy pulled away the cube split in half, landing half of the emerald goo into her mouth. She moaned to the intense lime taste, but more so to the feeling of the cube itself. The jelly felt like nothing she had ever had in her mouth before. Though it seemed solid to begin with it flowed inside as if it were a liquid. She struggled to keep the jelly still, it flowed sideways in her mouth, back and forth over her tongue.

Keeping the jelly inside proved to difficult, as the emerald goodness slid down her throat and became lost. 'So good...' She drew her lips back down to the jelly cubes, biting off the rest of the cube as she took it in her mouth. This time she kept it in for longer. The taste was alike to eating a lime juice drink, this feeling of a half solid half liquid treat still seemed so alien to her, but the more she took it in the more her taste buds screamed in pleasure, her mouth releasing soft passionate moans eating her unique breakfast.

The cube became lost again down her throat, the slippery substance proving to be a challenge to the shy pegasus, but she soon became determined. Fluttershy tasted excellence, she wanted more, she needed more. The jelly cubes as her best friend would point out were unquestionably, uncharacteristically, unbelievably awesome. “I need more.” Fluttershy returned her mouth to the second of twelve cubes, taking the whole cube into her mouth at once. The size alone filled the entirety of her small mouth leaving little room for movement as she tossed and turned it, lapping at the delicious taste in her oral chamber. Her tongue pressing the cube against her teeth, lacerating the edges of the cube leaving more surface area open for the flavour to spread down her mouth. Her saliva mixed with the lime flavour, causing a build up of a juicy lime drink in her mouth. Fluttershy gulped down the drink with a pleasing look on her face, she began blushing throwing her head down to the table causing Angel Bunny to stare concerned at his carer questioning what was going on.

The cube remained whole, unable to slide down her throat as she continued licking intensively at the emerald surface, swallowing her saliva a second time making sure to not accidentally swallow the jelly cube. Fluttershy began panting lightly, her body becoming fully awake to the world as she moaned to the delicious treat. Nothing, nothing could match what her mouth currently felt. 'Who needs warm water.' Fluttershy bit down hard on the jelly cube, swallowing it, slithering like a snake down her throat as her mind trailed in thought. “Warm water.” She smiled with a mischievous grin.

Fluttershy quickly made her way over to the fireplace, flying over the feasting creatures as she lowered herself softly before the warm kettle. She cautiously rested a hoof on the iron, and upon feeling it warm she lifted the handle in her mouth and flew back to the kitchen table, landing the kettle carefully on the table. Angel Bunny continued eating, slowly now as he looked questioningly at the strange actions of the pegasus.

Placing a hoof inside the kettle, Fluttershy was pleased to feel the water warm, but not boiling. She withdrew it shaking the water off her hoof before biting off a new jelly cube, taking it in her mouth. Angel Bunny was shocked to see the pegasus then pour the kettle's water into her mouth, the warm water being to cold to hurt her, but at the same time being warm enough to effect the jelly inside.

'Oh Celestia.' Fluttershy sat back in her stool holding her head to the ceiling with her eyes closed as she dropped the kettle onto the table, the flowing warm water slowly melting the jelly cubes inside her mouth, the feeling of the jelly slowly solidifying the water in her mouth was like staring at the gates of heaven, as the cube dissolved the gates flung open, light green angel bunnies flew around her, serenading her as she lay back in a field of flowers, the wind blowing through all her features, her mane her tail her coat, even breezing through her bones as she felt so completely relaxed. Before the sudden thunderstorm hit, sending a bolt of lightning jolting her as the jelly cube broke in half, releasing unfathomable pleasure through her. "Oh!" She yelled, releasing water from her lips as her mouth remained open, quietly moaning in ecstasy. "Oh Celestia!" Fluttershy was living in paradise, nothing could come close to describing how she felt, not even all the previously unthinkable words needed to describe how she felt before adding the kettle's water could come close to this new feeling. "It tastes so good."

Angel Bunny stared open jawed at his carer, as her senses continued to enjoy the blissful cubes of jelly. The little bunny stood on his stool, pointing his little white paw repetitively at the packet in his carers grasp.

Fluttershy finally finished her uncharacteristic explosion of enjoyment as she looked down to her pet. “Oh, of course.” She replied sheepishly, still enjoying the taste that left her mouth as she swallowed the last of the delicious juice, she handed over the cubes of jelly, flinching away as Angel swiped his knife along the seams of the cubes, landing all but one onto his plate which he soon dived into happily. “Oh, ermm well enjoy.” She sadly withdrew to her seat, chewing on the final cube in her possession. It was sweet, and delicious, and likely not nutritious. But as she finished it she sighed realising she had no more to eat. None that she didn't want to steal back from her pet anyway. “I guess I'll just have to make some breakfast...”

“Why make breakfast when you can make jelly!” Fluttershy paused suddenly in fear before slowly tilting her head to the ceiling, above her perched a brightly smiling pink pony. “Jelly is always better!” Pinkie released her grip on the ceiling, landing on her surprised friend's lap. “Heya Flutter.”

“Ermm, hey.” Fluttershy blushed slightly looking away from her friend. “Ermm, how long, were you?”

“I've been here all the time! I had to make sure you liked the jelly!” Pinkie giggled gleefully. “I didn't know you liked to eat them raw!”

“Oh, I'm sorry, I know I wasn't suppose to...”

“Don't worry about it! I do it all the time!” Pinkie stroked her friends mane again. “I have to say though, I never enjoyed them as much as you did!” Fluttershy continued blushing shyly as her friend reminded her how she acted. “I guess I always just eat them to quick!” She snorted slightly in her giggle as she ripped open a red packet of jelly cubes and downed them all in a single gulp.

“How could you eat it so fast?” Fluttershy couldn't help but fear how much of a waste that was, as much as she loved her friends sweet loving nature those cubes could have lasted for hours of pure oral pleasure.

“Oh silly filly, I always eat fast!” Pinkie continued stroking her friends mane. “But don't worry, I have more where that came from!” The party pony brought her forelegs together, rubbing her hooves against each other before spreading them apart, revealing countless packets of jelly like a deck of cards. “Choose your jelly!”

Fluttershy smiled, looking over the choice, raspberry, lemon, lime, strawberry, apple... “Ermm, blackcurrant if you don't mind.” She quietly requested, pointing her hoof at a purple packet.

“Okie dokey lokie!” Pinkie stated as she placed the others on the table, offering her friend the packet of her choice. Fluttershy gave her a warming smile in return as she slowly began to open the packet and nibble at the contents inside. Pinkie watched as her friend continued nibbling, suckling the surface as if a foal drinking from a bottle of milk. She just watched, pleased as her friend continued eating.

“Aren't you going to have one?” Fluttershy asked politely before continuing to nibble and suck at the purple jelly cubes.

“Of course!” Pinkie leaned back, grabbing the nearest packet to her as she tore open the orange packet and downed the jelly cubes in a single gulp, awarding a quiet laugh from her friend.

We usually just call it Jello here in the US. I don't think I have ever heard anyone actually call it Gelatin in public.

Yeah, here in the States, like so many other things, "jelly" is something else. Those "tubs of jelly" in the Hearts and Hooves episode are filled with what you blokes across the pond would likely call "jam." Here, though, jelly and jam are very nearly the same thing, as they're both used as a spread and made in similar ways with similar ingredients; but jam is softer and runnier, while jelly is a bit springier and more gelatinous, making it a bit harder to spread, but somewhat less likely to run off the sides of the bread in a gooey mess. It's sort of somewhere between gelatin and jam, though gelatin uses several other ingredients and is made differently.

And yeah, Jell-O™ (or jello) is the commonly associated brand name with gelatin, much like Kleenex™ facial tissues, or Biro™ for cheap, plastic, ball-point pens over there across the pond.

I was a bit thrown off by the use of "carer," since the word we use over here is "caregiver."

Also, I'm now reminded of the fact that blackcurrant juice is not widely available over here, which is unfortunate because I rather like it. That and milk chocolate digestives, though at least there are some stores here that import them and/or Hobnobs, albeit at generally exorbitant prices. ($5 USD for a roll! That's like £3 or something, for a roll of biscuits/cookies!) Consarnit, now I just want a Flake, but nope, can't find those here either!

That is an exceptionally in depth comment on the things. I suppose it's good to keep it as gelatin then to avoid using a brand name. We tend to just say carer rather than careworker, the later is the more formal one but many people and job places simply say carer for such roles, so I decided to have Fluttershy as being his carer, as I didn't want to use the word owner despite Angel Bunny sort of being her pet, in a way, he doesn't act like it though with how much he demands stuff from her. But he is a cute bunny.

Wow this fanfic must have some subconsous hold on my brain. every time i have sour taste in my mouth weather it is from milk drying in my mouth or lemonade i keep checking on this fic for a sequel . Why doesn't this have more likes!!
