Pinkie Pie gives Fluttershy a new treat for her breakfast, a packet of lime flavoured jelly cubes. However being to hungry to wait for the water to boil, Fluttershy decides to take a quick nibble of her new treat.

The results of eating a packet of lime flavoured jelly cubes while writing.

Jelly = Gelatin for Americans etc. Pinkie mentions it during the story in her own special way.

We usually just call it Jello here in the US. I don't think I have ever heard anyone actually call it Gelatin in public. :ajsmug:

:derpyderp2:

Fluttershy would be horrified if she knew what those were made from! You monster!

I approve! :pinkiehappy:

LOL :rainbowlaugh: you have my thumbs up

yeah it's jello in the US, i hear 50 jello's for every 1 gelatin.

pretty funny too :D

This is AWESOME sauce! :pinkiehappy: Now i am hungry:rainbowwild:
Good Job!

That was...

I don't...

How...

I'm too perverse to comment politely right now...

Is... is this porn?

Where is the sex tag to warm me of this erotica?

Ah, I was never to sure about it as we always call it jelly in England, I just went online and checked around for the name and it turned out to be gelatin, but I suppose in public you wouldn't use that name :moustache:
506375
In Equestria it's made with only the nicest least effecting ingredients for sure. :pinkiesick:
506382
Glad you enjoyed it. :raritywink:
506457
But at least there is some gelatin, I suppose Pinkie is that 1 in 51. :pinkiehappy:
506523
A pity to much of it makes you ill. :pinkiesick:

506721
Its all in your mind, a nice mind that is, but still in there none the less. :trollestia:
506727
I didn't write it with any intention of it being as such. :twilightsheepish:
506747
It isn't erotica, Fluttershy is just heavily enjoying the taste of jelly cubes. :yay:

507068 Lucky. I would love to live in England.

I never thought I'd say this about a story about breakfast, but...

For some reason when i read this i thought it would turn into shipping stuff :applejackconfused: damn hypnotic jelly!!

Yeah, here in the States, like so many other things, "jelly" is something else. Those "tubs of jelly" in the Hearts and Hooves episode are filled with what you blokes across the pond would likely call "jam." Here, though, jelly and jam are very nearly the same thing, as they're both used as a spread and made in similar ways with similar ingredients; but jam is softer and runnier, while jelly is a bit springier and more gelatinous, making it a bit harder to spread, but somewhat less likely to run off the sides of the bread in a gooey mess. It's sort of somewhere between gelatin and jam, though gelatin uses several other ingredients and is made differently.

And yeah, Jell-O™ (or jello) is the commonly associated brand name with gelatin, much like Kleenex™ facial tissues, or Biro™ for cheap, plastic, ball-point pens over there across the pond.

I was a bit thrown off by the use of "carer," since the word we use over here is "caregiver."

Also, I'm now reminded of the fact that blackcurrant juice is not widely available over here, which is unfortunate because I rather like it. That and milk chocolate digestives, though at least there are some stores here that import them and/or Hobnobs, albeit at generally exorbitant prices. ($5 USD for a roll! That's like £3 or something, for a roll of biscuits/cookies!) Consarnit, now I just want a Flake, but nope, can't find those here either!

506375 chill they have jello not made of ... that i'm sure it fine it don't have a dark tag

There is good stuff and bad stuff.
507308
Breakfast can be very good indeed.:rainbowderp:
507744
It's all in the mind.

That is an exceptionally in depth comment on the things. I suppose it's good to keep it as gelatin then to avoid using a brand name. We tend to just say carer rather than careworker, the later is the more formal one but many people and job places simply say carer for such roles, so I decided to have Fluttershy as being his carer, as I didn't want to use the word owner despite Angel Bunny sort of being her pet, in a way, he doesn't act like it though with how much he demands stuff from her. But he is a cute bunny. :yay:

Can rest easy, I didn't even think of it being made out of the things being hinted at, so it is safe to say the jelly is completely fine in Equestria.

Wow this fanfic must have some subconsous hold on my brain:pinkiecrazy:. every time i have sour taste in my mouth weather it is from milk drying in my mouth or lemonade i keep checking on this fic for a sequel :rainbowwild:. Why doesn't this have more likes!!

525541
I am glad you enjoy it so much, you could always help out by spreading word about it.:trixieshiftright:

Sooooo good! :pinkiehappy: I'm going to the store to get some Jelly right now!!! :pinkiehappy:

539071
I would myself, but the last time I ate it I felt sick after, I suppose all the cubes was a bit overkill, only ponies can truly take so much.:pinkiesick:

the description is very good .. it like i can imagine the whole scene folding out .. i wish this is one of the episode on mlp ..

It would be interesting to see such an episode, but not sure if they could extend it to a full 24 minute length like writing it can. :yay:

now i am really hungry for some Jelly!!!:yay::pinkiehappy:
