However sadly Pinkie's lack of care to her teeth and diet result in one of her gifts proving to be a little too hard on her tooth. Soon her best birthday ever swiftly becomes one of her worst to the mention of needing to see the single pony she fears the worst. The dentist.

Thank you.

Geez those dentists sure aren't doing anything to help Pinkie Pie overcome her fears or control her addiction, she'll have to keep coming back if they keep scaring her because she'll just never learn. :twilightoops:

1151423 And this story made me just wanna huggle her more.

:heart::pinkiesmile::heart:

1151477
They think scaring her will make sure she remembers to look after her teeth, but Pinkie Pie just can't help how much she loves the sugary goodness.
1151552
Anything that makes you want to hug and cuddle her more is good.

1151625 Well maybe since fear obviously doesn't work they need to try plan B, show Pinkie that the dentist is her friend and that if she keeps her teeth in good shape she won't have to deal with all those wrecthed tools. :twilightoops:

1151423 Only 2500 words for a one shot. EQD!

1151738
That may be what they need to do next time if Pinkie needs to go again anytime soon.
1151789
It says 2520 on here but it says 2450 in my writing program so not sure how legit the number is.

ah brings back memories:rainbowderp: great story though Favorited and thumbsed up :)

1152576
The dentists only want to do their job, a pity it scares so many though.

1152506 Well I hope that's what they'll do, and I hope they apologize to Pinkie Pie if they do so. :pinkiesad2:

Good story.

I treat my mouth horrible and go to the dentist anyway. It's not that bad, the pain is bearable. :moustache:

I once ignored brushing my teeth for a good while, no longer though!

Aww, so cute! Poor Pinkie, next time take better care of your teeth, sweetie! Your friends only wants what's best for you!:pinkiehappy:

I wonder why Pinkie is afraid of the dentist? Probably she had a bad experience. I take care of my teeth everyday. I'm glad they won't end up like how Pinkie's tooth broke off.

I’m afraid of the dentist but at my age (late 40s) I am no longer as afraid as Pinkie is.

I haven’t really had any bad experiences with the dentist but due to being on the autism spectrum (level one/“mild” currently. I was pretty much level two when I was younger) I have many sensory sensitivities. The scraping and squeaking sounds that I hear when my teeth are cleaned bother me more than any pain or discomfort that I incidentally experience during the cleaning. I am also sensitive to light so the overhead light also bothers me.

I don’t need sedation or restraints but I do tend to grab onto the arms of the chair as hard as possible most of the time when my teeth are being cleaned. I remember this very clearly because I just had my teeth cleaned earlier this week. Luckily I had no cavities.

The bottom line is that even at my age I can relate to what Pinkie is experiencing here more than I would like to admit.

Yes, but for me also painfully accurate. I also have a sweet tooth. I enjoy ice cream, cotton candy, and tootsie roll pops, but at least I brush and floss more than Pinkie does in this story and most of the other stories that I have read.
