so much d'awww....tracking. I'm kinda happy i looked in the popular stories bar for once.
"Feint blue light" should probably be "faint blue light" unless it's a trick to psyche someone out.
"Octives" is an odd spelling for the title, perhaps you meant "Octaves"?
It feels like you're narrating quite a bit, but this is the prologue so I suppose that's fine.
I'm curious on a couple of points though:
-How does she know she's to be the greatest DJ of all time?
-If she's never touched a turntable, with which instrument did she win several concert awards?
-Do Vinyl Scratch's family have names yet?

As for the other questions, I'll be elaborating on them when I release another chapter. I'm thinking over how I want to proceed with the story, and can't seem to make up my mind!
