If they were still newborn foals, then I would say the same thing butttttt, considering they are aged up and I can see them doing something other than baking, that's the reason for them being supporting characters. I see them being more creative and special due to being born to two earth ponies but being so different as neither are earth ponies or the same. It will all play out.
