It's called garbage can, not garbage can't.

Since dating Rainbow Dash, Applejack's ordinary days are few and far between, especially when Rainbow comes to her asking her to help her find her cloud house which had blown away in a storm just over a week ago.

There's a little more to Rainbow's problem than meets the eye, however, and it's not just where the house landed that's the problem: her own feelings are starting to get involved too...

I shall say, poor physics.

5223812 Pfff. Everyone knows fire works like that...

5223901 that's the magic of sibling rivalry. Awesome story by the way, I loved every word. Rainbowdash would approve.

5224509 Thanks! I appreciate the comment. I love making people happy.

Hmm, AppleDash?

Tchernobog and TwilightUCrazy to comment in 3, 2, 1...

Interesting, I love it! love the pacing, the comedy and now I want to know what will Luna want to Rainbow to do?

Thanks a lot! I did my best.

I never really gave much thought as to what Luna wanted, though. I think she just wants to slack off, according to my fanon. Lazy Luna is best Luna...

That... was a funny read. I like to imagine how that first week went by... and even more, how the next week would turn out. To be honest, at the end, I expected Rainbow to bring some of her 'magazines' along, for, eh, study-reasons...

And I really like the idea of the Apple family approving of Rainbows presence. It's one thing to be tolerated, but another to be really accepted into their ranks...

Thank you.

5235374 You're very welcome.

I find that the Apple family is an important factor in Applejack's relationship with... everything, and you could say this is my take on the matter, and I decided that there wouldn't be a conflict of interest between family and Rainbow. Rainbow is awesome: how could she not be accepted instantly and with confetti?

And Rainbow doesn't need to study the paper reports any more. She has a live model.

Can't argue with that. Both of it, hehe. Although I also could see Big Mac getting a bit overprotective or Granny being a bit to traditional...

5235930 True, there's a lot more I could have done, but since I'm better at writing relatively short stories I felt it best to focus on AJ and RD. Maybe another time I'll take a look at how granny feels about all this nonsense in more detail... I dunno. I'm addicted to appledash, though, so eventually I'll write something else about it.

I'm looking forward to it. With each and every day I'm crawling through more and more stories - up to now, AppleDash is - of course - favorite and the group can provide, but the day may come when I run out of material... horrible vision. :pinkiecrazy:

5236760 Well, I began writing when I couldn't find stories that were at the same time good and provided relatively original ideas or themes, and whilst most of my stories have yet to be considered 'skillful writing' I always try to focus on something a bit more out of the ordinary, and I like to think I'm getting better all the time. Whether I succeed or not is of course up for debate, but I try.

Hopefully, if I have my way, there will be interesting appledash for a good long while to come.

5236840 That sounds... well, how would Rarity put it? Delightful! So I'll have to watch your progress...

Maybe I would've started writing myself, but English isn't my native language and although I try to do my best, I still feel a little... uneasy using it, writing comments, stuff like that. Not to speak of writing creative fanfics. To do so, I should've at least a way deeper understanding of the language, if not a sense for... using it playful. So, for the time being, I'm sort of stuck to writing comments and at least try to express my delight and gratefulness.

5239446 I know what that's like. I'm currently helping a friend of mine translate a story from french to english so he can get started, and I've had to write a few things in french for school purposes too in the past. It isn't as easy as all that, even when you can speak it fluently.

I suppose that if you ever do want to start writing, feel free to ask if you have any questions. I'm hardly the most knowledgeable guy on the site, and my friend can testify that it takes me forever to actually translate anything, but I can probably read through things and offer feedback.

5243179 Oh no! He's found me again! Quick, pretend I'm not here.:raritydespair:

Ha. What he doesn't know is I have been working on his translation...:trixieshiftleft:

douchebag

I thought it was pretty good up until that word.

Quite honestly, it killed the mood.

5297552 Could you elaborate as to why?

I'd be happy to change it if you can give me something a little more concrete than 'it killed the mood'. I, personally, didn't feel anything particularly wrong with it, but then again I'm inexperienced and I miss things.

5297674

In what could have otherwise been an episode of the show itself (disregarding the joke about the magazines, which I found amusing) that word was extremely dissonant. It did not fit Rainbow's voice, nor the tone of the story.

5297692 That's concrete enough a reason for me. It will be changed to something else.

Thanks! I'm just glad that out of 8558 words, only one was an issue.

5297711

You'd be surprised what a single word can do. Other than that, I thought it was a pretty interesting and fun story.

5297741 Actually, I wouldn't. I've heard the saying about rotten apples and barrels.

In any case, I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of it.

There are some very minor editing errors that need seeing to, but I liked the story as it is: one of romance, and most especially trust. This is for you:

5406240 Thanks. This means a lot to me, so cheers to you and the rest of TL.
Have a smiley face! :pinkiehappy: It's very pink!

This story was pretty cool. And I like the little tidbit about clouds being magically inert. Nice way to put some limits on the Unicorn Master Race, as the fandom so oft loves to make them out to be.

5537629 I've got my own theory that limits the master race thing, but it's long winded and relies on cutie marks, so I won't bore you with it.

In any case, glad you liked the story! It's still one of my favourites, even if I feel I've improved a bit since this one.

5537655 What? Bore a fringe theorist with a theory? The heavens forbid! My own theories run along cutie mark directing as well. A lot of the fringe theorist/Anti-Master Race Elements support Cutie Mark Determination of Unicorn Magical Propagation. There's so much evidence for it too.

Anywho~ Thank you for the good story. And the mischievous meddling Celestia who apparently has nothing better to do with her free time than mess with people's love lives and annoy her staff. :trollestia:

That story was amazing. :pinkiegasp:

10142153 Cheers boi! Glad you enjoyed it. Feel free to check out some other stuff if you want something similar-ish. There was an AppleDash contest recently on the AppleDash group which I participated in if you'd like to give that one a look! : )

That was a good story.
